Answered: Ad I'd Rather Not See On Webkinz Newz...
I think this is the right place to post this...I was doing the Peek-A-Newz Challenge on Webkinz Newz and I happened to notice an ad that I'd rather not see on Webkinz Newz. What if little kids saw this and clicked on it?? I don't think I'm allowed to post a picture because it might be too bad for WI, but I will tell you that it was and ad for IMVU with words that are not very appropriate on it...
Is there any way to get Ganz to remove this ad from the site??
Contact Ganz and alert them to it. But I don't know if tehy have much control over the ads. I get ads about St. Louis Deals, etc. I don't thin people in England or Australia are seeing those, (I Live in Illinois, so I'm close to St. Louis) I bet people in California see ads about stuff in California. So Ganz might not be able to do much.
IMVU is for older adults. This shouldn't be on webkinz newz. You are absoloutely correct. Did you take a print screen shot? You might want to report this to ganz. Its not safe as young kids ages 7 and other ages play webkinz. They shouldn't do this. Many websites i go on has an IMVU ad. I'm a teen so i just ignore it but its different for kids. Thanks for the heads up.
