Is anyone else having problems with the new WI Auto Refresh?
I cannot use my desktop to access WI bc its not powerful enough to handle auto refresh every 10-sec. My laptop is slowed down a lot when this site is open.
I often get "your message is too short" errors, even though I've typed two paragraphs. My guess is that it auto refreshed and wont recognize my text. When I hit back, the text is gone so I have to retype it all! In fact, it's taken me four attempts to get this thread started. I was smart enough to copy the text before the 3rd time. In addition, I had to abandon Firefox and use IE. I NEVER use IE, its full of security risks, has way too many problems AND makes my computer crawl (especially with the 4 ads on WI). I am scared everytime that I use IE.
I've been having a hard time pasting in links. Instead of going where the link directed, it will take people to the main page of the forum. My guess is that I either copied or pasted at the wrong moment and the site was auto refreshing.
WI has always had an auto refresh but it being 10-sec is new. It's causing a lot of problems, at least for me.
