I don't think I can handle the wait any more than you can. Of course, I am very sorry you can't leave sickbay. But you CAN get up and walk around, as long as you keep the wires in. Yes, even this one to your right.......the human body can become a painful place to be when relying on the vitals of a Kataran Pod, and the painkiller will help you a lot. But you can walk around. If you wish, I can help you."

Krilia nodded weakly. "Yes, I think I'd like that," she told him, managed to prop herself up on one numb elbow. She watched the Kpod closely, but it didn't seem all that exciting to her. Perhaps you had to be a father to be excited by it.

Krilia groaned, finally managing to sit up. "This might be harder than I thought," she commented with a laugh and swung her legs out over the edge of the bed.

"So is there anything you want to do? Are you hungry or anything?" Kapon had learned in his previous experience with humans that they could become bored and in need of something to do.

Krilia shrugged, slowly standing up. Her feet ached, and she thought for a moment that her legs would give out on her. Using a small table for support, she took a small step towards Kapon. "Well, are there any books or anything around?" On a normal day, she would gladly have practiced her training for hours upon hours, but she doubted that she would be able to do it that day. She reached towards her pocket, realizing that her phaser was missing. "Kapon? Do you know where my phaser is? I think I might have dropped it when I was hit." She sighed, feeling in all of her pockets. It wasn't there.
