"We should probably be getting to our nests now, hmm?" he commented.
Airabelle looked off toward where the sun would rise and blinked her eyes, nodding her head, "It was interesting, trying your job for a day. I don't think I ever could've imagined it otherwise. I'll see you tomorrow," she said with a smile toward the owl, pushing herself off of the branch and beginning to fly off toward her nest.

Gerd nodded, following her gaze to the horizon. He lingered on the branch for a few moments afterwards, thinking about what she had said. It was true for his as well. He shifted, looking around at the grass waving in the gentle breeze before he pushed away from the branch and headed homeward. He found that he was exhausted, and fell asleep almost instantly.

"Come on, now, Len, let's go inside," he murmured softly.
Enola chirped a little bit, showing a bit of concern to her brother. She stayed back, however, and flapped her wings. Enola looked over to Achilles, and formed a bit of a smile. She couldn't really smile, since she was still young, but there were warm feelings coming to her brother.
Olevia picked up Len, and flew back up. "Come on Krol." She said, and placed Len in the back of the hollow. All his feathers were ruffled, even his turquoise ones. One thing that Olevia noticed when he was born, was that Len was a pretty big owl. He wasn't tall, but his muscles and wings were bigger. Maybe that had to do with the eclipse too? It was pretty overwhelming to poor Olevia, and all she wanted to do was rest after this long, traumatic day.

Achilles gave a small chirp back to his sister, face mirroring her attempt at a grin. He stretched out his wings a little, yawning as he made his way into one of the nests.
Krol flew into the hollow after her, still breathless. What if Len had fallen all the way to the ground? He sighed, hopping over to his nest and settling into it. The hatchling was fine, and that was all that mattered. He didn't pay attention attention to how Len looked, but simply closed his eyes.

{{ Hmm, skip? }}
Olevia looked over her family. How lucky she was. Everyone, by the looks of it, was safe, and that's what matters. The queen lumbered slowly towards her bed, and sat down. Enola and Len's nests were right near hers, so that she could keep an eye on them. But that wouldn't really matter, Olevia was too tired to watch them anyways. Enola and Len were being helpful, as they were already laying down in their places.
