He nodded. "Yes. Just my beak always shows," he said, referring morosely to his ivory beak. He shuffled closer to the trunk of the tree, wanting both to make room for the other owl and to get away from the wind. Just in case. He smiled to her. "Do you like to hide in the trees?" he asked, on the chance that she might be like him.
Amara shrugged. "I don't blend in very well like you
do," she said, stretching out one wing to show the
snowy white feathers. She clicked her beak restlessly,
gazing toward the moon. "Do you want me show you
where I lived before I came into Star Tribe?" Amara
asked.

Aedo nodded. "If you wouldn't mind," he added, following her gaze to moon. He ruffled his feathers, and looked out over the landscape, wondering where she had lived. Suddenly a thought occurred to him. "Are we near Moon Tribe?" he blurted, not wanting to be caught in the middle of a scuffle between the Tribes.

Her words weren't even coming out right!
(Luckyheart?)
Krol got up slowly, and walked to his window. He was still slightly dizzy, and his vision was a bit blurred, but he felt rather better. The moon was high in the sky, maybe even setting, and it seemed calm enough. He gazed out over the land. His land. She shook his head. There was the old oak tree, with a leap of leaves next to it. That was a heap of leaves, right?

(Bah, stupid auto correct on my iPad :/)
Olevia fell asleep, and woke up a few minutes later. She stood up, but ran into a tree. "Ow!" She whined, and fell back down. She rubbed her head. The sun was going down. To her, it just seemed like a fire. She screamed, and tossed her body around.

Aedo nodded, taking flight in the direction of his tree. He folded his wings and rocketed toward it, then stretched them out to catch himself. "Almost there!" he called into the wind, feeling sure that she couldn't hear it. He flapped a few more times, the perched beside the ruins of his nest.
A few feathers and sticks lay on the branch, with one leaf. Aedo sighed heavily, shaking his head ans staring. He would never be able to rebuild it! He sighed again, and waited for the medicine owl. she was probably the only thing that could comfort him right now.
Soaring through the thick, hot mist, Horizon tried to find her way back over to Aedo. Her yellow eyes were narrowed and her beak was clicking with a bit of anxiety. "Aedo? Where did you go?" she called. Suddenly, a branch came hurtling towards her, and she froze with shock.
History (Not required, but makes for an interesting rp)}
Born in an abandoned shack with her mother, brother, and sister. Her family came to a devastating end. The whole nest was engulfed in fire suddenly. I was knocked out of the nest by her mom's flapping wings, she saw a small hole. Scrabbling over, she fit through it and ran as fast as she could. Luckly, she was old enough to surrvive. She eventuly came to the forming groups, and was accepted in.
Other (Secret word, read the rules)} I'm a shadow? I'm not sure, but I did read rules.
P.S.- The image included is justbecause . And yes, I know olws don't wear talon-guards or face masks.

Aedo began to gather up some loose sticks and feathers in his beak, rather upset. Where was Horizon, anyway? He sighed, and looked around for her, but saw nothing but a branch. "Horizon? Are you around?" he called, obviously upset. He ruffled his feathers, and picked up the sticks he'd droppped when trying to talk.

Krol thought he heard some distant screaming. He sighed, thinking that he was making it up. He shook his head once more, and decided to take a fly. It seemed calmer now, and he felt much better. He leaped from branch, spreading his wings, and flew at the old oak tree. A gust of wind blew his aside.

["SAVEHERALREADYAEDOAUGGGH!"]
The branch struck her in the stomach, and she stumbled back. Tripping over another branch, she plummeted to the ground. A loud screech of pain escaped her beak. She tried to flap her wings, but then she remembered that a whole clump of her feathers had been ripped off. It made her fly a bit more awkwardly, and she continued to fall. "Aedo!" Horizon called.

( All in good time.)
Aedo heard distant cries. The wind, perhaps? No, it was another owl. Suddenly, he understood. "Horizon!" he called in a panicked, worried voice. He flung the sticks from his beak, and spread his wings. Flying expertly, he plummeted towards the ground in search of the medicine owl. But she was not to be seen by him.
