She could hear the click of the odourless, colorless liquid as water dripped off of the roof. Horizon awoke, stretching. The medicine owl leapt to her feet, hopping out of the hollow. The sky was a light gray, and she could see the faint glow of the moon in the distance.
Aedo, who had been awake for a while, saw Horizon stir. "Good morning," he said with a bit of a yawn. He looked out of the hollow. "Looks clear," he commented, looking to the owl. He yawned again; he had gotten up much earlier. He sighed, took a deep breath, and began to preen himself groggily.
[LOL, morning?]
"I know," she commented back, ruffling her feathers. Blinking slowly and dramatically, Horizon glanced around. "Hey, are you going to help me collect herbs? Maybe afterwards we could go hunting," the medicine owl said quietly, staring up at the sky.
Aedo, as much as he wanted to agree, shook his head. "I doubt Krol would be happy if I stayed much longer," he said, sighing and turning his jade eyes to the medicine owl. "But I don't want to go," he added, not wanting to seem like he was eager to leave. He quickly finished his preening, and looked back to Horizon.
Her golden gaze grew sad when Aedo said, "I doubt Krol would be happy if I stayed much longer." She stifled a sigh of relief when he mentioned that he didn't want to leave. "Oh well. You can stay here if you'd like, Aedo," the medicine owl said quickly, taking to the skies.
Aedo looked at her with curiosity. "Stay here? But Krol - and Olevia. and my King and Queen. What would they say?" he asked, rubbing his head with a wing. He sighed, and took a deep breath. "And I have to rebuild my nest. But you can help, I guess." He was loath to be separated from the medicine owl so soon.

Dracarius looked around silently toward them, taking ina d eep brheat. she yawned to herself quietly and took in a deep breath, watching them all. "What is it that you need?" she asked with a smile on her face as she looked at everyone else. She blinked her eyes in absolute silence.

Ephira dipped her head in a respectful fashion. Just because I'm queen does not mean that I should not show proper respect to others. "Sullen here is in needs of medical assistance, he is injured badly, worse than I think he would dare to admit." She said raising one feathery eyebrow. "I came to assure his arrival... I give that his friend has already told you their tale?" Ephira said, but her question was more of a statement than a question.
"Now, please forgive me, I must be off. I have some rather disturbing events to deal with..." Ephira said with a curt nod as she spread her wings and took off away from the hollow.

Phantom looked at him, surprisingly touched by what he had said. She allowed her redish eyes to widen fractionally and looked over at Garth once more, "Garth, I feel the same for you. But I can't take you with me, can I? You'll just get into trouble wherever I go with me, I don't want you to need to live that life, even if I have to. I hate to leave you. You're the only reason I'm hesitating," she whispered, looking over at him and shaking out her wings silently.
~.`Garth`.~ "cause tomorrow i might have to fly away" Garth's heart leapt at the first of her words... perhaps there was the slightest chance that Phantom liked him? His heart sunk as she continued. He shook his head at the rest of her words. "I can not accept that. I can't just let you leave the Tribe by yourself... No matter how capable you are. Honestly Phantom I think you would feel exactly the same if I tried to run off." Garth said with rebellion hinted in his tone.
