Take a moment and think about your perfect life, 'bout the life you dream of and the steps you will achieve to reach it. Does it seem impossible, improbable, idiotic to even dream of such things when your life will always move forward and never branch out to the bigger and the better? Now, take another second and think about the steps that have lead you up to where you are now. This is, your here for a reason. What that reason is, I can't tell you but someone, somewhere, planned all of this out to right now. Your here, I am here, we are all here and there is no there but here right now. We must focus on the here or we will lose all the hope that we are trying to retain. Look around you at the wreckage.... you shouldn't be here, I shouldn't be here... none of us should be here but we are and that is the incredible, impossible, improbable thing about it all.

Planes disappear all the time. Its a tragedy but it happens. News casters report, search parties come up empty, and families morn. They are suspected to have sunk into the deep but are you sure that is really what happened? The story I have proposed to you is one of supposition. Perhaps, those people don't all die. Maybe just maybe there is an island out there. One that is strange, one that is different but one that CAN support life. This is where I am suggesting they landed. Laugh all you may Would they even be able to survive there when the very earth beneath them is their enemy?

Note on Violence: There will be deaths on the island but no one ever sees them. IF someone is dying, they disappear. That is it. I do not ever want to see a gory, bloody mess on my rp... and I will be watching for it.

No one knows how big it is... how could they? The inhabitants crashed... and frankly were to busy trying not to die while falling form the sky to notice the size.
What has been explored is mostly rather dense and high rainforest with trees stretching far up to the sky. Fruit is plentiful and easy for the picking though on an island, you need to be careful with your rations.
The beaches are white like a resort though this is far from what this place truly is.
Of to the right ish section of the island are hills... lots of them. The area clears of trees and is rather plain like in its sort. Great farming land... if they ever had a chance to make anything of it.Farther in are mountains, tall ones.
There are caves through out the island and many inhabitants live at them.... at their own risk.
Enough about the land though, that isn't the part that is all that important.
What every inhabitant on the island needs to know
They aren't alone.
Strangely enough, the animals here have survived just as well as any human could... and better. They are huge rather monstrous creatures here... ones you could only dream of. There are beasts you wouldn't expect to ever see on a tropical getaway... take a giant polar bear for example.
Boar roam the land and herd of rather large buck in the grassy plains.
Be careful of night however for who knows what lurks then and most of all... fear the island itself. It doesn't take kindly to trespassers and it is better to make peace with it now than fight with it later.

NOTE: For this rp, I am trying something new. I am going to let you all rp THROUGH flashbacks. In most rps on this site, a person would do it alone, go through it alone, and then end it. I want to see how it would work out of two people who somehow have had contact before had a flashback together. Example of this... brother and sister. A brother remembers a time where sister and brother did such and such... if you haven't already rped it out with the other person's character (the sister), I am going to let everyone flash back and do that. As long as the word Flashback is at the top of the post, you can rp in a flashback together. Not for to long mind you, but you can do it none the less. Its a test run, but I hope it goes well.
