(It was great! My first non-white Christmas, but I got plently things. A mini sweing machine, my sister's old Ipod Touch... An antique wine holder. xD) (Yup! Alright. xD)
(New formatting coming soon) He was already leaving, and there was no need to call him her thoughts. He was kindly letting her stay on his territory, yet she knew she was still not safe her. Yet she felt her paws automatically taking her back to her old den.
She was at the opening to her old den; it looked safe enough, with no danger. But this was not the case.
A white streak bowled her over, and she wrestled with the malicious creature, ramming the other fea into the ground a second later, her voice faling out in a snarl, "Leave me alone."
Stardust had changed, with golden flecks in her pink eyes, her tail split into two, one shoulder misshaped, and a pink scar on each cheek. A psycho light ignited her heart, a chilling light. "What are you doing here?" Her voice was like a thorn.
"The alpha told me to stay here, and I will not tolerate you." With those words, Iris slashed at Stardust, causing her to speed away, and the brown fea slipped into her den.
[It never snows here. Well, it did on Easter once. I made a snowman.
What? xD Haha the rest sound pretty great, though!]
there's nothing left,
Scathach didn't speak as he approached, she just looked at him, scolding him silently. "What?" he asked when he was close. "I'm not sure what you're planning, Callinan," she answered, "But I must advise that you think carefully about it." She chose her words painstakingly, trying not to offend him. Usually she didn't worry about his feelings to that extent, but perhaps he seemed to be in a bad mood tonight. "Relax," he told her. "I just want to learn a little more about our new friends."

Callinan didn't sleep that night, but he wasn't tired, anyway. He sat outside his den and watched the sun rise, which was pretty despite it being an overcast morning.
"I'll teach you," she replied, and this time, the lightness in her voice wasn't the least bit forced.
He sounded disgruntled enough already, imagine when he was through with this little trip! Aine couldn't help it: her tail wagged merrily behind her. What a fortunate turn of events, she'd end the day well-fed with vengeance satisfied. Lovely.
Even through Dair's heavy covering of trees, the wind was cold, and the rain from the previous day left the ground moist. Aine hardly noticed the mud, however, even when she had to slog through a rather deep portion where the ground sloped and was soaked up to her hocks. The lakeshore was even colder than the forest without the protection of the trees, and the water itself was steely grey and foreboding. Terrible fishing weather, Aine thought with a smile.
'cause I'm not here.
Wind cut through his fur, reducing what warmth his fur offered him to near nothing. His ears pinned back, he sniffed the air and found it to be rich with moisture and a certain cleanness that came with recent rain. They arrived at the lake, which appeared bleak and not inviting at all. Nike cringed when he saw the water; his paws felt numb just looking at it.
Learning to fish was ranked in usefulness somewhere between snakes and rocks. It was something he had absolutely no desire to do, especially on a day like this.
"I'll have to pass." he told her, his lips curling up as the wind blew the lake water too close to his paws. "I'd rather try for a doe or a few rabbits; something... warmer."

they don't know me,
Her good mood crashed at the turn of a few words. She was frustrated with herself, though, too. She didn't give the stupid brute enough credit. Of course he wouldn't agree on a day like this; she'd been foolish, gotten her hopes too high in the thought of humiliating him. She frowned, but forced the signs of defeat from her expression before she looked back at the male again.
"You sure? Fish are very easy to catch, if you're hungry--" His lip was curled and he seemed rather upset by the chill mist the wind forced off the water. Aine doubted she'd be able to convince him, he really was much smarter than she'd like to believe, and knowing not to jump into a lake in the dead of winter wasn't exactly a mental feat. He wasn't some mindless drone she could lead astray.
Aine sighed inwardly. "Fine," she said, "If you want to take the easy way out." She turned round, back to the forest, and tried to supress a most annoying sense of relief that she wouldn't have to force herself into that cold water, and look happy about it.
Name: Anon
Gender: Male
Description: Anon is basically made up of three colors: a sandy tan, much darker brown, and finally, a coal black. The tan covers his limbs, the entire underside of his body (neck, muzzle, tail, stomach). The brown adds another layer on top of the tan, sandwiched in between it and the black. The black is the top most layer, sitting on the nape of his neck, back, and top of his head and tail.
His build is athletic, and it is no surprise that he can run, climb, and swim exceptionally well. A pair of dark, icy eyes stand out like beacons from his fur.
Personality: Anon is more of a humble wolf, and does not like to attract action to himself. In fact, he will go to large bounds to make sure he stays in the back of the crowd, in the shadows. Upon meeting, most think he is actually mute. Which, he isn't, but her does have problems with his voice. It hurts to speak after a while, some prefers not to speak unless needed.
History: Anon was born in a smaller pack that only consisted of about five or so wolves; two of which were his parents. They traveled around a lot because of lack of food. They also weren't a very aggressive tribe of individuals, so many skirmishes and fights they had, they lost. Eventually their situation became very dire around the time Anon reached adulthood, so he left for a better life.
Other: he's in Dair. And sorry for any weird spelling mistakes...on my iPad :p

so save your breath.
(Mmmhmm.) (The wine-holder came in handy; my sister got a bottle of wine. xD)
(New formatting coming soon) Iris rolled onto her side, her eyes squinting against the intense sunlight spilling through the opening of her den. She had survived the night, but with only one solid hour of sleep. She'd been restless, Callinan's words turning in her mind, and also afraid of attackers.
She was glad to see that it wasn't as sunny as she expected; still, the harshness of Sdhoirm sunlight was different that the softness of Dair. Stepping out of the den, the crisp sea-breeze ruffling her fur, chilling her bones, Iris walked off towards the camp, looking for Callinan. She wanted to continue their conversation.
(I contacted Lake about being the beta. As of now, we're gonna try and make Mynx the beta after RPing a bit.)

[Ah, that's good!]
[Okie doke! I'll go ahead and put his name up though, so I don't forget.]
there's nothing left,
It was still early for many of the wolves to be up, so the sound of pawsteps through camp stood out for being largely unexpected. Callinan turned and saw the brown female, who must've awoken recently. He smiled and loped up to meet her. "Good morning."
His eagerness was genuine; he had been rather looking forward to learning more about the Dair alpha. After all, her pack and the one he now led were recovering from war, if he wished to discourage further conflict, he couldn't be distant. This is where Kaelan had failed -- or would have, had he any interest in stopping the bloodshed. Superiority may be gained under the shadow of mystery, but it was solidified by closer relations.
so save your breath.

[Dair is fine; I've got Khat and Saggitavi. Would you care to start?]
Callinan smiled -- or rather, smirked -- and replied in the same tone, "I wouldn't dare underestimate you, my dear; however, I must correct you in that the term war would convey both sides had equal chances of winning." He paused for a moment, pale gold eyes searching hers, and continued without giving her a chance to reply. "But no matter, as we've both agreed not to engage in such trivialities. That does bring me to our next topic of discussion. Although we can prevent further conflict between our packs, it would be foolish to assume we will not face any--" he paused, searching for a word, "outside difficulties. I would certainly hope that in times of hardship these three packs could band together, unifying and increasing our chances of survival." Here he paused again, as though waiting for Iris to affirm his warrant, but once more he went on before she could speak. "In such a case, borders and specified loyalties would have to be put aside, for the benefit of the whole. I understand there is a hatred between Sdhoirm and Dair," he said, naming his pack with the other as though he were not connected to either. "But naturally, against a common enemy, such hatred would need to be abolished. The same would go for the valley pack, Alyister. The wolves could no longer follow only the alpha of their own pack, because then no real unity would have been achieved. "But there is also a reason that packs do not have three alphas. There is a reason the beta's power is limited. One wolf must have the final say for there to be order, which would be especially important in a time of crisis. Encouraging chaos with three equal powers would be counterproductive." One brow twitched ever-so-slightly in a silent question. "Of even the elite, there must be imbalance. There may only be one true alpha." He sat back, lounging, relaxed posture at odds with the seriousness of the topic. He'd made it clear enough, he thought, who that one would be. She had come to him, hadn't she? It was as though they had already chosen. The Alyister alpha's receptiveness to this was no issue, merely by being here, Iris Tornado had shown him that she might be the only opponent.
