Also, can someone pls tell me why when I hit reply, it makes it look like I modified it? I wouldn't mind here but in the GE, I'm worried that it's gonna look like I'm modifying my posts and I'm most definitely not!
Well for your second question, its to do with Auto merging double posts as they call it basically the forum code will merge your last post with your new reply if you were the last to post in a set amount of time so yo dont end up with a page of you talking to your self, as for getting in trouble in the GE you wont as the mods and admins can tell the difference
as for WHONK, I cant remember the exact meaning but it was started in the daily discussion thread and they are all like super hero's you would have to double check things with one of the WHONK crew, Klock did tell me but I cant remember, (sorry Klock)
I just wanted to point out that the w-shop Movie theme items are the current theme 'on sale' for today and tomorrow (well actually Asian yesterday and today). I particularly noticed this because DD has been talking about making a movie themed room.
For Sept 9, the Film Strip Rug is in the sale section for 30% off and the Usher Statue is 20% off.
For Sept 10, the Movie Theater Lamp is on sale all day.
This isn't curio shop related but I wanted to point it out in case anyone missed it and was interested in saving some cash (I do not think this needs to go on the front page - just a tip for those who might be reading through the thread).
I love the Wise Wizard Bookshelves and just got home in time to see they are on sale on the Asian accounts now! Off to stash a few away!!!
Also, question for all you rare trackers. Did anyone save the list from the survey a few days back asking which theme "you would retire"? I didn't think of saving it until after I answered - duh!!! Now, I want to make sure I have some stuff set aside from my favorite themes as I suspect that one or more of those themes will be retired at some point (hopefully later rather than sooner but who knows). I remember baseball, ballerina and lily pad but not the rest.
I'd love to but being rather new I'm not one of Arte's level 7 bff's yet. I don't have the Excel spreadsheet of prices memorized to tell if something's on sale with the exception of the new oven and the oak pools. If I ever see those on sale, I'd pipe up (as Momasandi can vouch for-got a reppie for that, thanks!).

I can't tell you how much work it's been, but I'm facing rebellion on the home front here so I can't keep on doing it all myself. I'd really appreciate if everyone pitches in! At a glance, if an item appears to you to be one-third off or better, just list it with the time. And the CSO. Price lists can be printed from various sources, trek's link is in his siggie and in my previous Rares thread. Or you can just open the W Shop on top of the Curio Shop.
trek, zingy and Webkinz_lovers - Thanks for all the help to get me the list of potential retirees from the survey! I am going to be heartbroken if the jungle or lily pad themes retire! I am thinking to create a storage room for each and see how much I can fit in it LOL!
zingy - a way to prevent the automerge of posts that trek explained is to become an Insider Insider member (although they get marked as automerge near the bottom so there won't be a problem in the GE). I really like not having the ads and the idea that I am helping WI by my donation (which is quite small by the way!). I am not sure if I like the removal of the automerge or not. I write a lot and it looks like even more when I end up with a couple posts in a row on a thread LOL!

Then I compare with Arte's price. Probably getting a calculator would be easier but it is all the way in the other room (I hate using the one on the computer!).
Sadly I can at first glance know if an item is on sale (not the newest themes though) then i look up on the spreadsheet to see the actual precentages.
