DragonsFly's House of Sprites - ALL Webkinz Sprites 2005 - August 2011
Hi everyone. I wanted to start with a big thanks to Bindidog for being
the inspiration to start making these. Her holiday sprites got me interested.
Sprites vs. Smiles
Just a note what I am making and posting here are sprites not smiles. The difference (probably only in my mind) is sprites are tiny pictures where as smiles are actually worked into the code of WI. At this time no new smiles are being added but I know people want new ones so these sprites are free for anyone to use. I only ask that you give me credit if you are asked where they came from. Also if you want to take them and modify them please ask. I doubt I will have any issue whatsoever but one does like to be asked.
The way that my sprites are intended to be used is for you to copy and paste the designs you like onto your computer, then upload them via Tinypic or some other external host. The other option is to right click on the sprite and select either "copy image location" or "copy link location". This will get you the link to the sprite on my TinyPic account and you can use that to post the sprite (just add [IMG] and [/IMG ] tags around the link). The only drawback to this is if I go away or delete an image from my account (something I don't intend to do anytime soon) you would no longer have the image. If you save it to your computer you will control it.
Feel free to request any ones you would like that I do not have posted. My graphic skills are not top of the line (I have no idea how to do movement) but I am quite good at the basics and am willing to try the more difficult.
