I'm thankful that my dd got a great job at a nearby hospital!
My highlight yesterday was having my son and his wife over for dinner, and watching the Chicago Bears WIN! It was a good day.

Monday, 11/14/11
Today, my highlight was spending time with one of my close friends.
We haven't seen eachother in a long time, so it was nice just to be able to catch up with him for a little bit.

Today's highlight was talking to my cousin. We haven't seen eachother since last Christmas! He's a year older than me and is in that stage of life where, well.. he doesn't seem to like to talk to anyone. lol I'm not sure how to explain it. He's just very serious and seems bored all the time. Anyway, we chatted a while on the phone. That really made my day. & The fact that we conversed for over 10 minutes was a welcome surprise. ((We're going over to their house for Thanksgiving!! --looking forward to that))

Hmm, today my highlight would probably be with my brother.
I was trying to win a radio contest, and he was like "Let me know when they do it and I'll call and try to help you. And if I win, I'll give you the money."
It was really nice of him to try and help me.
And I was like "Really?" and he was like "Sure, you helped me win the last one I won, so it's no problem.".
You know, brothers and sisters tend to argue a lot, so it was a nice gesture.
Unfortunately we didn't win the $200, but still....
