I still like them too. I've been to two of their concerts. ^_^
Re: songs that people hate but you love OR hipster bands
I wouldn't exactly consider Owl City or Queen that hipster..
Some bands/singers I like are Owl City, Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, The Fratellis, The Wombats, The Kooks, Simian Ghost, Dear Luna, MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, Sia, Swimming with Dolphins, Breathe Electric, Ok Go, Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, Phoenix, The White Stripes, The Black Keys, and Sia, to name a few. There's other bands who I've only heard three or four songs from and so far like, but need to listen to more music from before I can say I'm a fan.
(I don't consider most of those "hipster", really. some are indie, some are more electronic, some alternative..)
One artist I really love is Oh Land. I think she's really talented, and deserves a lot more recognition than she's getting. c:
For some of them, there's maybe one song that's popular/known, but the rest of their music isn't really known. Everyone now knows the band, but only that one song.
Death Cab for Cutie [I Will Follow You Into the Dark] and MGMT [Kids] are two examples.
And I must admit, Miley Cyrus is my guilty pleasure..

Since when is Queen a "hipster" band? lol just wondering
Anyway, there's this one band I like called Electric Light Orchestra (from the seventies) that hardly anyone I know is aware of...still isn't hipster though. x]

Are you, like, my clone?
Because I absolutely love The Strokes, but they're not as popular as they used to be. And I can't find a single fan of them. Anywhere. Dx
And I might as well list mine...
The European Synthpop Trifecta (as i call it): Little Boots, La Roux, and Annie. I freaking love them.
Robyn, Matchbook Romance, The Scissor Sisters, Ladytron, Ladyhawke, and Broken Bells as well.
