I'm sorry if you have been ignored.
I try and say hello to everyone who comes in.
And a lot of people say that we're a cliqe(sp?), but we're not really. We're all just really close.

Yes, it's true that the DCT can tend to go pretty quickly, and I'm sure you don't mean to skip over posts that aren't necessarily from your friends/other DCTers. Perhaps, instead of accusing all of us that don't go on the DCT regularly of accusing you, do you think you could maybe approach it differently? Maybe, instead of "You all are stereotyping us!" you could try saying it in a nicer way, such as, "Some of you are stereotyping us, and it really hurts our feelings," or something of the like. I think when you word it the way you have, you kind of contradict yourself by stereotyping the rest of WI. (I'm not saying that's what you meant by it. That's just how I perceive it. )

I know how it feels to be prejudiced against, trust me. Being a big fan of One Direction, I tend to get a lot of hate. (Inside of WI and out.) I try not to judge people's opinions as they do mine, because I know how it feels.

I am sure this will all work out for all of us. I think that it might even bring Webkinz Insider closer together.

What if you are a newbie who comes on the DCT, get ignored, then your over all feeling of WI is tainted with being ignored.

I know I posted on a while back. I posted a few, and I was told to shut up and leave the DCT because it was "our thread"
You guys have every right to be there, I have no problem with that at all. I am just saying try to be nice, and greet someone who wants to join in on the fun.

I haven't been on there recently, but from my pass experience. most people just stick with them selves or their group, and ignore everyone else. I am not trying to be stereotypical, but this is from my personal experience on the DCT.

I used to hang out on the DCT a lot, but after awhile, I would always just get ignored when I went there. I would be lucky if anyone would even say hi to me, let alone actually have a conversation with me.
I'm not trying to stereotype you all or anything, because it's not everyone doing it.
It's not like there's one group of people who ignore others. I've seen all different kinds of members, at different times of day, ignoring people.
Again, I'm not saying that EVERYONE does. I've had some really nice people who I've actually had conversations with there, but, for the most part, I'm always ignored, so, I chose not to go to the DCT anymore, unless I see people on there who will actually talk to me.

I don't like DCTs, but I don't have anything against the DCTers at all. It's just that most of the time people never really talk to me on there. Not sure if that's because they don't know me or what. I've been into some good DCTs before but lately I haven't really been on them much because people either ignore what I'm posting because they don't know me or they just overlook it. I don't really know which one anybody is doing so don't tell me I'm accusing the DCTers of ignoring me because I'm not. It's just that lately I haven't gotten into a good conversation on there. The last time I remember getting into a DCT and getting a good amount of posts on it was probably late last year, maybe even earlier than that. Don't really know what's going on now, though. I assume it's because I don't know anybody on this forum. Well, a couple of people, but some of them have either been not talking to me lately, or they got banned or something like that. Who knows.
I don't really ignore DCTs, because I still get on them and look at the posts and stuff. I just don't post in them myself. The only times I've posted in them is when it's "dead." Other than that I just look at them. There's no point in posting if I'm just talking to myself.

Sorry if this offended anyone, just had to get that off of my chest.

The DCT was created for folks to chat; off topic. We talk about various topics and sometimes it does move fast. People are not purposely ignored; sometimes the post is just buried and we don't see it. Post again. Not everyone enjoys the fast (or slow) of the DCT, it just doesn't suit them and that is fine. That is why this forum is big and there are other sections of the site that they may enjoy posting on and may even prefer to chat with their friends via pm or vm; its a personal choice.
The posters on the DCT are welcoming. If you say they are being rude, then flag it and let the staff handle it, that is why we are here.
Why not invite your friend to the DCT and the two of you start posting on it together? You will have others join in on your convo and maybe, just maybe, you will make a new friend.

I never DCT anymore.
I use to a lot... But I did feel ignored there. Like someone else posted, I'm sure no one purposely meant to ignore me. They were just deep in their conversation. (:

But it's like in KC+... If two people are in deep conversation, and someone interrupts to say hi, but the friends are trying to discuss something, the third person thinks they're being rude. <--- that happens too much to me.

I'm not sure I understand the DCT. xD Maybe I'm too dumb, but I never seem to have any great conversations on there. [I have been a member for quite a few years.]

I don't go on the DCT very often, but that was an extremely unnecessary topic. People are stereotyped enough in reality. Why must people be stereotyped on here as well? >_< Like Cows said, they don't try to ignore you. The DCT is just very swift and it's hard to keep up with each other and try to find new posts at the same time. And that whole "all they talk about is anime" thing is silly, too. It's just a thing they all enjoy and they appreciate how much effort is put into making those shows and they like to see that other people have that in common with them. And they talk about other things, too. They don't just talk about anime. I think it's wrong to title ANYBODY and we should all just know that the ignoring thing is a misunderstanding and treat others the way we want to be treated.

Good point Rainzz I like sneaking a peek on the DCT when I am around, sometimes you guys make me laugh. I can't keep up with you all, especially with Live Update, but I DO enjoy the easy going good natured banter you all have. How you all get along even though you don't always agree and how you make each other laugh when someone is down.
I like the pro-social network that has evolved over time and how easily a person can slip in and discuss something and just as easily slip out.
No one is ever turned away from the DCT and if they are ignored, it isn't because they are being singled out, it is usually because it is going way too fast
