Default King Tutankhamun Exhibit in New York?

I decided to create this little thread because today,I went with my family to New York to see the exhibit. Now,if you're asking me,"King Tutankhamwhat?",I'll explain who he is:

King Tutankhamun(Tut-ankh-a-mun) or King Tut for short was a young boy who lived in the 18th dynasty in Egypt, who became the pharaoh at age nine after his father died. He ruled and changed the ways of Egypt back to normal after his father made it that the Egyptians only believed in the sun god for ten years until he died when he was nineteen. His death is still a mystery, but some people have a theory that his royal advisor who strangely became pharaoh after died murdered him and some have a theory that he fell off his chariot, but it's one of history's mysteries. Anyways, his fame rises even after his death when in 1922,a English archaeologist named Howard Carter discovered his glorious tomb filled with ravenous treasures and expensive beauties. Well, now, the treasures found inside the tomb, plus a replica of the mummy travel all over the world to be shown to the viewing public. (The actual mummy plus his golden sarcophagus were left in Cairo due to the fact that the Egyptian government didn't want them to be shipped out)

So,now that that's cleared up,I wanted to know if anyone else actually went to see this breathtaking display in New York, like I did. It hasn't been near me in over thirty years,so I was pretty ecstatic(I'm a bit of a History buff,hehe..) when I heard that my dad got tickets. I actually thought it was much better than the Webkinz Tour Bus because it was air conditioned, there were no screaming kids and it was pretty fascinating. Even though I didn't get any webkinz or other prizes,I did learn a bit more about Ancient Egypt and I got a super awesome T-shirt,a picture with my family and I saw a 3D show about how King Rameses was mummified

Ugh,I sidetracked to my own experience, but anyways, long story short,I just want to know of you went or not

*Before you ask,I do not have any pictures of my trip because the Exhibit prohibited taking photos of any of the artifacts, but I do have mental pictures *

Awesome!! I love the whole Ancient Egyptian thing, and skipped over who Tutankhamen was because I already knew, XD.

It sounds super-cool! I seriously want to go to New York now.

I didn't read the huge thing explaining who Tutankhamen is, because I already know, so that saved me alot of time.

I've never been there but it sounds awesome! I love the whole Ancient Egyptian thing

Your going again? That's sweet! I envy you

But,anyways, the background about who he was took a lot of brain power from my part,so don't pressure me
