Most everyone would like to be famous one way or the other. Guinness Book of world records has made lots of people famous. Just this past Saturday the 25th, 675 people broke the record for the most people applying sunscreen. The previous record was 432 participants in Australia. This record event was organised by Joetz, the youth organisation of the Belgian national health service and Socmut to raise awareness of the importance of sunscreen protection. The staff from Joetz had arranged grids on the beach that would each contain 50 people. Each grid gradually filled up with participants, and at noon the record attempt started. Although the wind was strong and it was a little chilly, everybody was in high spirits and rubbed on the sunscreen for the required two minutes. The new record took place in Ostend, Belgium.
So if you could be a record holder, what would you like to have your name next to?
