How has your month been so far? Great, I hope!
So, have you had nice warm sunny weather?
Not so lucky in the Southern Hemisphere , on the 19th June, approx. 8:57pm, an earthquake struck a town in Victoria, Australia. Now I also felt this quake, at a magnitude of about 5.2 - 5.5. It was the talk of the town and the phone lines were down, and I literally thought some sort of bulldozer was closing in on our house
There have also been aftershocks, but we've been lucky enough not to feel those (but I want to )
Have you been in an earthquake?
Floods, too. A few weeks ago, a few towns had been flooded, including my area, with so many roads blocked, and the under-ground car park flooded...again. So too, the town creek.
And cold weather! This morning, when we were dropped off at 5:30am, the car was frosted over, and the road was foggy. I sat in the passenger seat, and I couldn't see through the frosted window, even though my mum threw some mild warm water over it (we know what happens if you use hot water over cold windows ), lucky my mum could see the road clearer than me ...
Here in MN it has been rather soggy. What's even worse, the street in front of my house has been torn up for over a month, and driving on the slick clay is not fun.
We're having a very warm summer here in Ohio. It's been in the 90s lately!
I've never been in a earthquake (not one I could feel, anyway). They don't happen very often around here. It sounds interesting though. . .
