Default Dye Easter eggs using onion skins

I enjoy making these Easter eggs. they use the crispy orange outer coverings of yellow onions. they come out looking like marble.

recipe:: take the dry outer covering, little pieces and larger pieces and sort of wrap them around raw egg. wrap this with aluminum foil. seal it up then punch some holes in the foil so that water can get in. place in cold water in a pot and bring to a boil and simmer for about 12 minutes to hard boiled state.

that is it. you are wrapping the raw egg in the onion skin and wrapping with foil to keep the skins pressed against the egg and you need to let water get in.

hope it works well for you and have fun. no two eggs will come out the same. and you can, of course, cook more than one egg at a time.

Hmm, that's interesting.
I've never heard of doing that.
Hmm, maybe I'll tell my mom about it and we'll try it this year.
