Default Concealer?

Ok, so I'm really fair-skinned and have dark circles under my eyes from being sick alot and allergies and stuff like that. I use concealer, but it doesn't really work that well. Do you guys know of any brands that cover up dark circles really well?
Also, it should be reasonably priced.

Makeup melts off in the summer, you're better off getting rid of the circles than you are by covering them up. Use frozen cucumber or an eye cream to reduce dark circles (I use L'Oreal Eye Defense). Also, try putting some spoons in the freezer. When you wake up, hold one against your eye for a few seconds. It will make you look more awake and reduce morning puffiness, which will make the circles less visible.

if your makeup is melting off try setting it with some kind of powder
if your concealor isn't strong enough than maybe you should try a heavier concealor or maybe one in a lighter shade. when dealing with dark circles and marks you have to use something lighter to even out the coloring.

your makeup will melt off in the summer but using primer and setting powder will help
my favorite concealer for dark circles is circle rx by physicians formula, it's about $7-8 and you can get it from target/walmart/any drugstore

just try to drink a lot more fluids and get more sleep
try tanning so your skin isn't as pale?
just don't wear concealer just under your eyes. it'll look weird because you're so pale .

I get dark circles from being sick or not eating enough red meat....there are lotion/cream things that you put on during the day (if you wear make up put it on first) that has vitamin C in it and it gets rid of the circles for the day! (and i have the same problem you do) it works really well!!! It feels kind of like clean and clear, you just dab it under your eye and SHAZAM (did I really just say that!?) It's fairly cheap too...I forgot the name but I can check if you want?????

Try a liquid make-up perhaps?
My mom and I use some. I believe it's Almay Smart Shade? And it works alright for dark circles. Not super well, but better than other products we've tried.

there's always maybelline's new york fit me concealer, which works great for me! c: it's around 6$, and it's liquid. it also doesn't feel heavy and stays on quite well. c:

i have really dark circles too, and they're genetic so there's no way i can get rid of them (and believe me, i've tried)
i use maybelline's superstay 24-hour concealer. so long as you set it with some sort of powder, it lasts ALL DAY and doesn't melt off. it doesn't cover my dark circles up completely, but then again nothing will since mine look like giant dark bruises, but it at least makes me look non-zombie-like LOL. it's pretty reasonably priced too. i'm pretty sure it's under $10, and a little goes a loooong way so each bottle lasts like forever.

Default Re: Concealer?

One concealer I have tried and really recommend is the Almay Wake Up Concealer. If I'm right, I think it is around 8$ at a local drugstore/wal-mart.

It covers really well but doesn't look cakey! It's also designed for covering up dark circles, hence the name 'Wake Up'. If the concealer is melting away in the summer, try first applying a primer. This will help the concealer stick better and last a lot longer then it usually would with just bare skin underneath. Also, after you apply the concealer, set it with either loose or pressed powder. I would really recommend CoverGirl Pressed Powder for a drugstore buy. Also, try getting a shade that is 1 or 2 shades lighter than your skin tone to apply just to the undereye area so it looks brighter and you look more awake!
♥Hope I helped && good luck!
