Happy Autism Awareness Month Everyone! May God Bless Each and Every Person who has been Touched by Autism.

I have a few questions about Autism:
-Can someone be Autistic if they only show the Physical "tics" and lack some Social Skills?,Or do all symptoms show up in our Autistic friends?

What a wonderful contest! I am a special education teacher in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, and I work with a student who has Autism. Every day he surprises me more and more, and I realize that he sees the world so differently than everyone else, but he still SEES the world around him (he is non-verbal). Out of all the students I work with, my time with him is the most fulfilling, because he teaches me so much. Thank you for making this thread and contest, and I hope it brings a little more awareness to the public!

Every single person with Autism is unique in their attributes. There is not set rules for diagnosing Autism. Generally it is a combination of a number of things!!

If you have concerns I would definitely consider an assessment!!
