No, we do not google our members. We had a third party company that specializes in criminal background checks review all of our Administrators and Moderators to ensure the safety of the forum.
but Wendy, do the mods and admins give out there first and last name? how do they do a backround check without the first and last names?
The Mods and Admins did provide us with the necessary information to complete background checks. Keep in mind they are all adults that fully understand the background check process.
You should not give your first and last name out to anyone on this site.
When you become a moderator, FP, admin, supermod, or just a staff member, how do you look for background info? I think it is a safe idea and is going to make WI a better place
Forum Protectors were not background checked, nor were they asked for their personal info. Please read Justin's announcement carefully before jumping to those conclusions.
