Maybe you get the stadium trainer extraordinaire badge for placing in the top ten in an open competition because anyone can enter and it would be extraordinary if you won the event.
I think you are on the right track! I think multiple pets on your account need to place in the top 3 to get the Stadium Trainer Extraordinaire badge.
My pet Shadow just placed 3rd today (pro beauty) and that is when I received the Stadium Trainer Extraordinaire badge on my main account (I have been checking my badges frequently to see when new stadium badges pop up!! I have had other pets on the account place in the top 10 and other pets place in the top 3!
I really don't know because i while ago i placed 1st and i also placed 2nd but i have no idea if they were giving out badges then. cuz if thats it i didn't get my badge!

I think they added the Stadium Badges when they redid the stadium a couple of months ago (or was it just last month? Time flies!! LOL!)
This is so weird! I was trying to add a new KA badge to MyPage and saw an unfamiliar badge. Never got a pop up, but it's the Don't Sweat It badge. Never got a pop-up, so I can assume I got it from entering and losing spectacularly! LOL! Have only entered 3x so far.

Congrats on the new badge! Have you entered any quick competitions? Did you place low in one of those?
I've done LOADS of quick comps. I do very well in those! I have gotten low scores there too, usually around the time of the trophy comps. I wish it was a pop-up so we'd know where they came from. I do know I got it since the goo-goo berry festival, but then that was also when I started trying the quick ones and the trophy ones, so that's not much help!
Oh boy, I just got the runner up badge! I hope I can put the picture in correct. I have been checking my badges after each win and today Majica got 4th place in the open beauty and she also got 4th place back on Aug 18. She has also placed 9th but I'm thinking it was the two 4th place winnings that gave me my badge.
Snow Crystal can you check to see if you got that with the account you have that badge with? I just started tracking my wins so I would understand if you don't know but you seem to have a spread sheet going I'm guessing.
Now for the Stadium Trainer Extraordinaire badge. Since the amateur isn't working I'm guessing that badge will have to wait.

I wish I only had 1 spreadsheet with all the results! I haven't been keeping close track lately. I try to take screenshots of my pets when they place in the top 3 and sometimes I record them when they place in the top 10. I used to take screenshots of the kinzposts too, but I stopped doing that also. I am so behind on my kinzposts. Most of my accounts have 60+ waiting to be opened (a few days ago, it was 100+)!
That is a good theory you have. I wonder how many people keep close track. I haven't even been checking my badges lately. I have been so busy. Sorry.
