well i did another contest like this a few minutes ago and used this story is that ok??
Bessie looked up at the huge ship before her, its big black hull was just as intimidating as in her dreams, well nightmares actually.
Bessie and her five brothers and sisters were waiting their turn to board the great Titanic. Bessie felt as though she was going to be swallowed up in the crowds of excited passengers huddled on the Ireland dock. Bessie sighed, shhe'd warned her family of her dreams but her parents and siblings had only pushed her worries aside. they attempted to reassure her by saying that the Titantic was unsinkable. but after Bessie's hoorrible dreams she didn't know what to believe.
Later after the ship had left the Irish port she and her sister Margot enjoyed a game of checkers despite the cold on the promonade deck. she had forgoten of her dreams in only the fifth night out to sea. but that night while Bessie lay in her berth which she shared with Margot it returned in full force. there it was the intimidating big black hull again it was rushing at full speed to where Bessie stood on an ice berg. the ship managed to turn but it scraped along the edge of the ice berg sending Bessie shaking from the force. Then the huge ship seemed to explode. People screamed as their bodies hit the freezing water.
Bessie woke with a start trembling. Her watch read 11:30 pm. Right at that moment there was a terrible lurch as though the Titanic had rolled over a thousand marbles. On istinct Bessie arouse the rest of her family immediately and led them to the deck against their will. bessie and her family were the first people in those tiny life boats in the icy black sea.
Her father and sixteen year old brother had to stay aboard. Bessie watched the terrors from the lifeboat. the screams and panic in the air.
Her father and brother never did survive. Bessie heard the news on the cold deck of the Carpathia the rescuing ship. She was devasted because she knew that only she knew the terrors that awaited everyone aboard the Titantic. but she didn't do a thing about it. She could have saved 1,300 lives but failed. and for the rest of her life Bessie lived with that awful sense of guilt and desperation
