I could go either way. I mean, it is athletic and you're moving and dancing and learning, so in that sense, it's a sport.
But when you think about the whole concept, it is not a sport. Because all you do is wear short little skirts and CHEER FOR A BUNCH OF SWEATY GUYS!!!! Why don't guys get on skirts and cheer for the girls? I know there are guy cheerleaders, but they still cheer for guys!!!!
So yes, cheerleading is a sport, but without much logic behind it. I would like the black bear please. pm me to find out my username. thx!

Yes. I consider all-star cheering a sport. We work very hard, dance, and tumble. Most people lift weights we lift people try that one time.

Yes I am not sure I consider basketball/football cheering a sport because like star2be said you just cheer for people. Unlike that all star cheering is actaully running through a 2:30 routine and tumbling, stunting, lifting people in the air, and dancing. You do have to work to be able to do this.
