x= 0.99
Here is my work 99 = 1 isolate the x by multiplying both sides of the equation with x
100x
this makes the equation 99 = x if you change the fraction to a decimal the answer is
100
x = 0.99

Aha!! This changes my answer! My answer is now x = 1.010101010101010
My work:
(99/100)x=1 divide both sides of the equation by (99/100) to isolate x
x = 1 99 which truly reads as x = 100 this is then converted to
100 99
x = 1.010101010101010000 (the sequence ends after the seventh one behind the decimal)
