I have to agree with Superyoshi, here. Pretzels are the only things that really have knots in them. That would be the one item I would focus on. Then look at all of the other recipes that have rainbows in them...like Jellamazoo Jiggle...

maybe licorice could be an ingredient in this recipe because the first word of the name is knotty like licorice is tied together you know in like a knot and maybe peppermints for color????
