-ABOUT THE THREAD-
So... welcome to the thread! I bet you have a few questions, or you just feel like reading something. Well, I'm here to tell you some awesome things about my MMWF thread.
I started Webkinz in January 2007 but didn't start running a thread until May of 2008. That first thread, "Dance, her webkinz, and a whole lot of fun" was one of the most popular threads around. But in October of that year, I thought I'd outgrown Webkinz. So I packed up the gang and put them in the basement, and thought that was the end, even though I got a brown cow for Christmas that year and a sheep for my birthday.
But in the fall of 2009, the link to WebkinzInsider started staring me down and I decided I wanted to go back to the site. And after reading the threads of Kat, Sara, KKF, Katerina, Sarah, and many other WI members, I decided that I wanted to come back. So I made the new thread, which was first called "Could it be? Is it true? Dance and her Webbie Adventures are Back!" and was quickly changed to the title "Come Tap Your Toes with Dance and the Webkinz!".
And then in January or something, the threads got merged and I currently own the oldest picture thread on WI!
-ABOUT ME-
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. My username is dancerkinzgirl4, but since that's a bit of a mouthful, you can just call me Dance. I'm a teenager from Canada, and I've been on Webkinz for almost 3 years, I started in January 2007. I absolutely love picture threading and I hope you enjoy the updates I post! I currently have 97 webkinz. Although I love each and every Webkinz I have, I have a special connection with my yellow lab, Lilly, my misty puppy, Swarley and my 3 signatures. In addition to WI and Webkinz, I dance, I do music, and I do weekly volunteering. As you may have guessed - I'm pretty busy. I try to update about once a week.
My picture threading style, well, I like to think it's unique but I'm not sure if it is. I'm not as random as many of the threaders on here, but I think I'm pretty funny and I have a good imagination and sense of humour. I don't like scripting updates, I like the spontanaeity of just letting my imagination take the story along. But I have scripted updates before (The Lilly Twin series, The Monster at the End of the Update, etc) and they've turned out pretty good.
I am different from a lot of picture threaders also, because my style is comedy. I'm not very dramatic. : P I once described my thread as 'a reality show, but without the scandals'. It could even be compared to 'the Office', even though I don't watch that very often. I tried a dramatic update once, it was my Easter special for 2010 (an Egg-cellent Easter). But I didn't really like how it came out, so I went back to comedy.
Long story short, I hope you enjoy my imagination and personality, and all of the hijinx my Webkinz get into.
-ABOUT MY WEBKINZ-
This is the 'webbie drawer' in my bed. It's where everyone hangs out when we're not updating!
They enjoy throwing things at me. Something about wanting their names before mine in the credits of all the updates we do. They're mostly girls, and a sweet, fantastic, and colourful bunch who are all camera hogs and brave explorers.
Most of my Webkinz reside in the 'Webkinz Drawer' in my bed. Some of the more 'camera-shy' ones live downstairs, and all of my signatures except for Conley and Luna sit on a shelf by my bed. Conley and Luna live on my bed because they're really cuddly. :]
I know a lot of people love when Webkinz have quirks, and boy, are mine quirky. You actually might be a little confused when you read my updates if my Webkinz start acting oddly, since I don't always explain them too well. So I decided to list the qualities of my more crazy Webkinz here, so you can get to know the 'odd' ones.

Peyton the duck takes EVERYTHING literally, especially expressions. For instance, in the update 'Peyton's Victoria Day Weekend' (found in 'the attic'), Peyton believes I want to physically grab a minute, since I said I would update when I had 'a minute on my hands'. In the update 'A Tiny Tree', Peyton hops from the room since I told her to be 'quick like a bunny."
Bianca the lil'grey and white cat is obsessed with Michael Johns from American Idol season 7. She actually tries to sue the show for his elimination in the update 'Happy Birthday Brooke White' (found in the attic)
Mookie the dachshund and Maya the giraffe are best friends and are completely inseperable.
Calley the beagle is very tempermental, and often picks fights with me. This usually occurs in her blog. Good examples are in Calley's blog 1 and 2.
Kiki the tie-dyed frog always wears her yellow raincoat when it rains. This is pointless, as she is a frog and gets wet anyways. This hasn't been brought up yet, but is something I put in Kiki's character a while ago.
Lilly the yellow lab is good-natured and is everyone's friend... except when she's being annoyed. Her biggest annoyance is Brooke the lil'gold and white cat, and you can view this in the update 'Puzzle This!'. Lilly is also a Webkinz Twin. Her twin is Kat's yellow lab, Tropical Banana. You can read tons about all of this in "The One with the Twin Yorkies", "The One with the Discovery" and "The One with the Explanation".
Brooke the lil'gold and white cat enjoys bothering Lilly. Her full name is Brooklyn, as is revealed in the update 'Puzzle This'.
Ella the lil'mouse is OBSESSED with becoming a professional ballerina. She always wears her pink tutu and practices her technique. She yells at the other webkinz to work on their technique too, although they really don't care. In the update "Bits and Bites", Ella complains about the amount of butter in the recipe and how it will destroy her 'figure'. Ella also ran away to participate in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, in Figure Skating. She wrote many letters to us, and ended up winning the gold medal.
Dia the lil'bluejay is a little bit bossy and loves the spotlight. She takes on the narrarator role for the Webkinz Theatre Productions, because her name is in the word DIAlogue.
Mika the Portuguese water dog is extremely hyper and talks quite a bit. She does random things a lot. This is shown in the update, 'Deflation Station' and the first Dance and the Webkinz Q&A.
Camille the Pink and white cat and Arielle the ginger cat are our 'Fitness Gurus!' they love excercising and forcing other Webkinz to exercise. They have their own section on the thread called Fitness Gurus!, which will usually end in disaster and/or hilarity, and a very disgruntled Dance.
Vegas the Rainbow Armadillo and my dog Jazzy strongly dislike one another. Jazzy always tries to attack Vegas, which she hates.
Patrol the Cardinal speaks in a British accent and uses proper grammar all the time.
Luna the Signature Labradoodle has the same personality as Luna from the Harry Potter books- she's a little bit spacey and lives in her own little world.
And that's just the beginning.
(no, my webkinz don't have disorders. That's not my thing. They have quirky personalities that develop over my updates. I'm not stealing ideas, and I'm not saying I made up quirkiness. :]
I also have 2 Zumbuddies, Pika the giggly zum, and Zuma the zippy zum.
3.1 - My Webkinz Families
Since I recently hit my 100th Webkinz, I decided that it was time to make up a new account for my 'kinz. Webkinz from both families (The EB Family and the Bazinga Family) will be featured on the thread equally. The only difference is the account they are on.
The EB Family:
The EB family (EB comes from some letters in my first WW username) was started January 20th, 2007. The first 'kinz on the account was my Alley Cat, Allison, and the final 'kinz to be adopted onto the EB account (except for the one more to keep it alive each year) will be Caelin the Budgie and Everett the Chickadee. After this, I'll keep it alive by adopting one 'kinz onto the account each fall.

As I said earlier, I'm usually really busy. Here's what my schedule for this year will probably be:
Sunday: Sometimes plans with friends. Monday: School until 2:30. Tuesday: School until 2:30, music from 4-5. Wednesday: School until 2:30, dance at 6:30. Thursday: School until 2:30, dance at 7. Friday: School until 2:30. I might be delivering Meals on Wheels some Fridays, until 6:30. Saturday: Sometimes plans with friends.

Can I make a thread like yours? Absolutely! Just don't use my ideas without asking me first.
Do you do ads or shoutouts? I unfortunately do not do ads, and I only did shoutouts once.
Can we do a collaboration? ABSOLUTELY! Just send me a PM and we'll figure out an awesome storyline.
Where do you get your Webkinz's names? Well, I get them from a lot of places. Sometimes I just hear a name and add it to my mental list. A lot of names (Timothy Aaron, Kent, Jeanine, Arielle, Allison, Lacey, Brooke, Noelle, Maksim) came from shows like So You Think You Can Dance or American Idol. I got the names Finn, Kurt, and Quinn from the show Glee; the name Luna from Harry Potter; and the names Swarley and Robin Sparkles from How I Met Your Mother.
- Types of Updates -
Picture Stories: Most of my updates will be picture stories about my Webkinz. They can be going out on trips to the store, the backyard, and more awesome places; or they can be just hanging out around the house, going on adventures.
Calley's Blog: Sometimes my webkinz Beagle, Calley, likes to post blogs about my life, happenings around the house, and special events with Dance and the Webkinz.
Webkinz Theatre Productions: This is any time the webkinz are acting out a story or play. For example, they acted out Romeo and Juliet and Little Bunny Fufu. WTP usually have multiple parts and are based on real stories, with some quirks, twists, and 'Dance-touches' on them.
12 Days Of Kinzmas: My 2009 Holidays update series, showing my 'kinz getting ready for the holidays.
Fitness Gurus!: The newest section on the thread. This was started right here, in Dance and the Webkinz, so we'd love credit if you want to do something like this. My pink and white cat Camille and my ginger cat Arielle lead you along in crazy adventures of getting fit and having fun! Along the way they attempt to help me and the other webbies in becoming fit, but it usually ends in disaster or hilarity.
Letters From Ella: In February 2010, Ella the lil'mouse decided to go to Vancouver, BC to be in the 2010 Olympics. She is going to try and compete in figure skating. Ella has been writing us, and we are posting the letters here for you.
TAR:WE Applications: As everyone hopefully knows, this summer, I will be hosting "The Amazing Race: Webkinz Edition". My Webkinz and I decided to start the planning early, so for the next little while, you'll get to see the application updates from all of the teams of Webkinz who applied for the Race. They'll be proving to me, my producers, and you why they should race!
Blog Entries: Different from Calley's Blog, blog entries are written by me or another Webkinz. They usually are used to fill you guys in on something that happened that I didn't make a picture story about (just a few pictures, something spontaneous, something virtual, etc.)
Biographies: Information on a Webkinz, personality, how I got it, etc, etc, etc. I might finish these someday.

1/20/07 - I started on Webkinz! 5/03/08 - I begin picture threading on WebkinzInsider and had one of the busiest threads! Fall 2008 - I took a hiatus from WI due to school and personal issues. October 2009 - Dance and the Webkinz start over again, with a New Thread! 10/16/09 - New title (Come Tap Your Toes Along With Dance and the Webkinz)! 11/13/09 - Calley starts blogging! 11/15/09 - First WTP starts! (Romeo and Juliet) 12/03/09 - Our first Christmas special, the 12 Days of Kinzmas begins! 12/14/09 - I discovered my old thread was merged with my new thread! 12/16/09 - I realized I am the OLDEST current picture thread on WI!
