Looks great! What contest?
I don't the the text in the middle should be that light, and the dog on the right should be recolored to fit the image.

I made a banner a while back with its theme as the Graphics
Designers club, and I'm not sure whether it is or isn't eligible
for a contest entry.
it doesn't really have a theme and i'm not sure how big it is...
