-shamelessly bumps topic-

I'm starting two new sites - one about photography, and a book blog. :3

Yesterday I did the stupidest thing ever - I deleted the whole TwigAdopts database. So I have to start that from scratch now. Isn't that just great?

Sounds like a big nuisance...

I've heard there is a way to create a text file with a bunch of insert statements (or any SQL statements) and then either in the command line or, I assume, on a web site, you can write a SQL statement to run the file. I did it a lot in class, but I tried it recently at home and couldn't get it to work. Very odd...Anyway, I was thinking that might be easier for you than entering each thing again individually.

Yes, it sure is.

We tried that (basically logging into mysql via cmd.exe and then trying to get it to export everything to a file), but because it deleted the whole database and not just the tables in it it couldn't do it. Now my only hope is that my dad finds a backup from a few weeks ago with at least some tables in it.
