~Welcome to the Vocaloid Fan Club!~
Need a place to talk about the coolest thing since toothpaste? No problem! We welcome all from a complete Vocaloid fanatic to those who are just curious.
Vocaloid, basically, is a computer program or a voice synthesizer (something that makes the voice sound techno-ish and almost robotic). Each comes with a built-in voice that differs from each other, which also varies the ranges in the voice. An official list of Vocaloids will be added soon and can be found further down this page. Once you install this program into your computer, you can use the built-in voice to create songs. You type in the Japanese lyrics (some Vocaloids can also sing in Korean, English, and Spanish) and can create the ranges and notes you want the Vocaloid to sing. Any animation you want to go with the song (which will make it into a sort of music video), you have to draw yourself, which means page-by-page tiny movements at a time. Sorry if that's a bit confusing..
My friend Rangergirl (Robin~Senpai) and I (Unique~Sensei) are in charge here, but don't let the 'in charge' thing intimidate you. We both love Vocaloid probably just as much as you do and will join in all the fun.
~Club Navigation~ Nothing right now... .:List of Vocaloid Songs:. Enjoy this compilation of Vocaloid songs! We'll keep adding to it as time goes on, but if you ever need a song to listen to, here's the place to come. As far as I know, all the songs on this list are clean, but I haven't been through everything. They all should be good though. Anyways, enjoy! Miku

Here is the form that we require you to fill out for you to join-
1)Your WI username 2)Your club name (Can be anything, it will just end with ~chan or ~kun) 3)Your favorite Vocaloid/Utauloid etc. (can be more than just one favorite) 4)Favorite Vocaloid song and who sings it 5)Why you wish to join 6)What's the password, mate? 7)Other info
~The Rules~ -NO fighting. I've seen so many fights break out in clubs. They aren't fun for anyone and ruin each member's experience. You are welcome to have debates about little things, but if they get out of hand, I or Robin~Senpai will have to stop them. If fights get too numerous or are constantly started by the same people, we will have to ban that/those person/people from the club for a couple days. Sorry, but that's the way it goes. -Please keep language WI appropriate. -No bragging about anything. -Please be respectful to other members including me, Unique~Sensei and Robin~Senpai. -When you type, remember to not use the plain red and blue letter colors, as they are reserved for mods and admins. -We want to keep it happy here. If you are having a bad day, don't worry, we all have bad days. But please don't take it out on anyone here. Go complain to your stuffed animals about it instead and you'll feel better. -If you can't say anything nice... don't say anything at all. -Please put the code in your form. The code will change from time to time so you can't steal it off another form, cheaters! The current code is- Kaito loves his ice cream -Please try to stick to the topic of the club. We don't mind some off-subject things every once in a while, but try not to turn a conversation into something totally different like having 2 whole pages on the subject of jelly. Just an example, but I think you get the gist. -I realize that there are some people who support the yaoi/yuri fan couplings of the Vocaloid characters. And if you do, we don't judge, but please don't say things like 'I ♥ LENxKAITO OMIGOSH!' or 'MIKUxLUKA FTW!!' Both Robin~Senpai and I think that yaoi/yuri pairings are morally wrong and would MUCH prefer if you guys didn't talk about them. Keep that sort of stuff to yourselves please. -Have FUN!
Here we will put all the names of the club members. If you join and don't see your name here yet, please contact me and I will make sure to add you.
Love to draw Vocaloid? Great! We'd love to see your drawings. They must be completely original artwork though. No copying from a website. And stealing artwork is a BIG NO NO. If you'd like to use an idea or concept that someone used in their picture, please ask them first. That way no feelings are hurt. There is no limit to the amount of Vocaloid-related drawings you can post, but try not to post say, fifty a day. Keep it in little numbers like maybe one or two a month at the most. Once you post up a picture, we will put it up here, on the front page under your name and in a spoiler. NO criticizing someone's work. Don't diss them or make fun of them. They most likely worked hard on their picture so don't be rude. If you don't want to compliment them, that' fine, but if you don't like it, please keep it to yourself. Quoth Thumper from Bambi, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all."
Vocaloid is a computer program- a voice synthesizer. It has a voice already installed in memory, so all you have to do is create the lyrics, the song, the instrumentals, actually know Japanese, (except when using Luka...) and all that other stuff. Super easy, right? (NOT.) I want one really bad. Here's a list of all the Vocaloids. I put a pic of the Vocaloid, AND their program in each spoiler~
Here's the first one, Hatsune Miku. She's the most popular Vocaloid to buy and use. She's 16.
Aaaaand Gakupo! He's not a Vocaloid, though, he's a Gackpoid. (I don't know his age either.) He's a samurai. *snrk* "Dancing Samurai, Hya!" Sorry, Gakupo song quote.
Then there are fan-made vocaloids that impressed the Vocaloid creators, so the creators gave them (the fan-mades) a voice. You can now buy their program.
This is Kasane Teto. She is an Utauloid. (confusing, all these -loid's and -poid's, right?) She was created as an April Fools day joke, but people really like her. She is a chimera, if you know what that is. In chimera years, she is 31, but since she is a chimera, you divide her age and she's really 15. I love her. I wanna cosplay her too..
Some people have been able to manipulate Teto's voice to go lower then it's supposed to, and they created another fan-made vocaloid out of this. 'Kasane Tedo' or 'Ted', Teto's brother. He's also a Chimera and the same age as Teto, but the age 31 seems to suit him better. I don't like him as much..
Yowane Haku~ (Her age is unknown.) She was created to make fun of all the failure jobs at trying to manipulate Miku's voice to go lower. And now she's pretty popular. I think she's a.. Voyakiloid? Yeah, I don't get it.. She's kinda a downer and is always kinda.. loopy? As you can see, she has a bottle of sake in her hand *yuck*.. Whenever I doodle her, I always change it to root beer. XD But I like her voice. It'a almost.. calming. Somehow. huh. Ok, here she is. (Her top bothers me..)
And last but not least, Akita Neru. Her voice is made by manipulating other female vocaloid's voice (most often Miku) to go lower. She was originally created as a joke, and is based off a troll, but after time she got more vocaloid looknig. She's.. 15. I think. She's most often seen texting on her cellphone.
People from all over the world have bought some form of Vocaloid, and have produced amazing songs. They upload their masterpieces to video-hosting sites like YouTube, or in Japan, they have a NicoNIcoVideo. They songa are all in Japanese (most of the time English subbed), just to let you know. Well, except for Luka. She has an English AND Japanese setting. And sometimes the programs can be manipulated to sing in other languages like Swedish, German, and (heavily Japanese accented) English. However, Kasane Teto can ONLY sing in Japanese. She can't be manipulated to sing any other language BUT Japanese.
So. I have done some research and come up with more info on the new Vocaloid3. So, as I said, she is the result of a project called I-Style. She was created/drawn by CARNELIAN. Studio DEEN and another company, Surfers' Paradise, are collaborating on the project. They have revealed that she has to do with "a new lifestyle with Vocaloid", whatever that means. I found some more pictures of her. I hope they show up.
Here's the picture of two new Vocaloids- Ring Suzune, 17, and Lui Hibiki, 12. Not much info is know about them.
[/URL]
There's also a new Korean Vocaloid, but she doesn't have a name or design yet. Her Voice provider is a Korean pop star, Kim Tahi, and will come out later this year.

I like World Is Mine, and Butterfly On Your Right Shoulder (if you ignore the meaning of the lyrics. xD) Did you know the Vocaloids had a hologram concert in Japan? Search for it on Youtube, it was amazing.
