Club Description:
Here we can talk about anything musical! You can share your songs that you wrote, any music you've composed, your favorite songs, if you've won any musical things (awards, contests, etc.), any instruments you play, if you take any voice or dance lessons, pretty much anything you want that has to do with music!
Rules: I'm gonna try and make this as simple and short as possible. Here are the rules:
-Follow all site rules
-Don't be mean or criticize other users
-Try to come here frequently if you join, especially if you have a job, so that you can stay caught up. Also, if we need you for a decision.
- This one isn't really a rule, more of a suggestion, but I figured I'd add it here anyway. I recommend checking the What's New? Section every other day or so

Assists President in decisions; Resolves conflict; Can, if deemed necessary, assist the Graphic and Contest Makers; Takes over to a certain extent when President is unavailable for an extended period of time
To be honest, I'm not quite sure.....She requested it, we'll see what she does with it!

You are sort of on the honor system here. Please don't look it up. I'd really like it if you just tried to think of the answer, but if you're really, really unfamiliar with the topic, ask someone in your family. Don't look it up unless you absolutely HAVE to
Points are just for fun, they don't really get you a prize or anything. I guess it's just sorta to show who knows the most about all things music! Points will be shown on the member list at the bottom of post one, NOT on the member profiles. I am also not eligible for points, so there will be nothing next to my username. Everyone else is, though. Yes, even Vice Pres. I'll come up with these on my own, so that everyone else may "compete"
Alright! This first one is by me, yeahdudes. It's a song I wrote for my favorite teacher, my gifted teacher, who's retiring (may be retired by now if you're reading this after June something of 2012) at the end of this 2011-2012 school year. We (my friend and I who are in gifted class) are going to record it in one of those cards that you can record your own voice in and give it to her on the last day of school.
The melody is sung with piano playing it too, and there's also a piano harmonic accompaniment. I wrote the piano music and vocal lyrics, and I'm playing the piano, but I'm too embarrassed, so I'm having my friend sing it, LOL.
I can't really describe the melody or put sheet music up, but each line is a 7 note melody, so just try to imagine something. It's in a major key, sort of lively but soft at the same time
Also, the first stanza, or section, is a melody pattern, then the next ones are the same exact pattern, but in a slightly higher key (about 2 notes) each time. After those three lyric sections, the piano then plays one more melody (slightly higher key still) with no vocals.
