Welcome to The Graphic Swap-Club
What this club is for….. I think it’s nice when people on WI give members graphics on their birthday. I also think it’s cool when insiders who own graphic shops have sort of a ‘surprise’ option, where you put a theme and they do the rest. So that got me thinking; what if I started a swap club where people could swap graphics? So here it is, the finished product.
How it works………. First, you sign up for the club. [: You can chat, etc. without swapping if you like.
I’ll announce a swap theme every other week. During that time, I’ll take sign-ups for who wants to participate in that swap. (You must be a member of the club to participate) You are not required to participate in every swap. This way if people are too busy, or don’t care for the theme you don’t have to do it.
After I get sign-ups for that certain theme, it starts. I assign partners, and you basically make a graphic with that requirement and theme for the person you’re assigned to. When you’re done, post it. I’ll move it to the front page.

Also, now we have our own swap posts. You can create your own on the post you first posted your form on. This is similar to a graphics shop, you post the things you would like to trade on this post. (leave your form though) Then if you'd like to trade for someone's, just ask.
*You can only trade each item once. You can't trade a pre-used item*
Rules…….. For this to work, we need them. [:
~Follow all rules on WI. This includes content, discussion and everything else.
~Keep graphics appropriate, and follow the theme. Creativity is great, just make sure it has something to do with the theme.
~Please don’t drop out in the middle of the swap. There are always exceptions, but unless you really really have to, please don’t. :] ~Don’t take graphics that were meant for someone else. That’s just not cool, and mean.
~It’s nice to use the graphics people made for you. It’s not required, but extremely polite. :] I suggest using it for at least a day.
~Don’t criticize, do complement. Don’t put down other people’s graphics, they worked hard.
~Do your best on all the graphics, render the recipient amazed. :]
Positions……… President: Me, luv2writeNS.
Vice President: Robolo101Helps me come up with themes and generally helps run the club.
Contest committee: (four people.) Jenniferpro, Cardinalband, Priceless, GymnasttaylorThis group of people come up with ideas for contests.
Angel: (no limit, anyone can be one) Gymnasttaylor, cookiekim02, Funny12321 These members make a graphic for a person if someone drops out.
Creative Assistant: Jenniferpro The creative assistant helps me think of themes, and other creative stuff. [: This is sort of like vice-vice president.
I may add more positions later. :] Angel is considered a 'side job,' so you can be an angel and something else.
~Key: * Means you have traded once. If you had ***. it means you traded 3 times.
& Means you traded 10 times. So if you had &**. you traded twelve times. (10+2) if that makes sense.
Current Swap………
The current swap is: Quilt Squares! Look at people's swap posts, and start trading!
Rules:
Try and keep updating your collection. I'm not saying go and make a million squares, just keep some fresh if you can.
You can trade on here, or PM/VM. There are more options.
No 'quilt snatching.' It's very mean, and disrespectful.
Be polite while trading.

Q: What if the person who has me drops out or forgets to make a graphic? A: That’s where ‘angels’ come in. An Angel is someone who is there for that purpose exactly, to make something if someone drops out or doesn’t turn it in.
Q: Can I be an angel? A: Of course!

What if I want to join but I'm not taking graphic design until next year EDIT? Could I learn, or is this just for ppl who already know what they're doing?

I'm thinking about opening a pixel trading forum........... It'll be My PC xD (My Pixel Community) Whaddya guys think? I mean, I'd love to join The Quilting Bee but I'm not up to maintaining a blog, and Jarheads and The Pixel Train are both closed xP

I'd say go for it! I've heard of the Jarheads, and that's what made me want to do this. Sounds cool, be sure to post a link!

Jarheads, The Quilting Bee, The Pixel Train, those are what made me want to do it Jarheads and the Pixel Train are both closed, and The Quilting Bee is too hard to get into xD
