Default What do you think of this solution?

Here I feel is a really great suggestion for Ganz and let me know what you guys think.

Shut down Webkinz world for a day.

Now, before I hear any protests let me explain. I hear people complaining all the time about not being able to get into the clubhouse or Kinzchat and Kinzchat plus, and people not liking the new naming policy (of which I totally hate as well) and I think they should give us more freedom in the names. I'm sure there are other problems as well. So shut down Webkinz World for a day and work on fixing EVERYTHING!!! If they shut it down for a long period of time and seriously work on updating the site they should have time to fix all the bugs and glitches which are causing problems for users. After all, they should please US since we are their customers. If people get fed up wtih the site and its glitches, sales will drop off and they will lose money producing the Webkinz if people stop buying. Their main concern should be pleasing us and for good reason. I also don't like how expensive the Aztec theme is getting, but that is peanuts compared to my other concerns.

I agree. I try for the glitches not to get to me. LOL
That would definitely benefit a lot of members here on WI if the glitches were gone
And one day is very reasonable in my opinion.

WHOA! How have you bought every piece already! Or do you mean you have bought every piece that has been offered so far. I just spent like 110,000 kinzcash over the last few months on the ancient civilization theme, and all I need is the wading pool. That is what I want to complete, it's just too much kinzcash. The Azure Aztec Fridge was almost 8,000! How do you make so much money? Or do you adopt lots of pets?

You can't fix every problem on a website in a single day. If it were so easy, they would have done it already.

It's not like there are 3 simple lines of code to be fixed. Every function calls another function, which relies on or interacts with another function, and so ad infinitum. Changing one line if code can make an entire system inoperable, and yet there is no simple, one time fix for all of the issues on WW.

There isn't even one central server where everything is stored - there are likely tens, perhaps hundreds of servers all interconnected. Many problems (especially those that only happen for SOME users, not all) are server specific, and not actually site-wide problems. That makes them even more difficult and time consuming to fix.

I know it can be frustrating, but WW will never be perfect. The system and all that goes into it is too complex to function 100% error free. Even if you don't see any errors on your account, I guarantee there are plenty of them server-side. We just have to get used to it, and be glad that for the most part, the site functions as intended. We're all able to log in, play with our pets, play games, etc. One or two problematic areas out of hundreds really isn't succh a bad ratio.

I agree. I could even handle more than one day if it could fix the following:

- the name restrictions
- problems in the trading room
- raffle winners not getting their prizes

I know that WW will always come across problems. I just think that most of their users wouldn't mind having it down for a few days - especially during the week when the kids are in school! I work so I'm only on nights and weekends. The trading room issues have been going on since they started. My only hope is that they spend the time fixing these problems before introducing something new that will also have problems. I assume that people would rather have the current activities running smoothly rather than add another glitch to the mix.
