I agree... I play "Runescape" and you and click on another online user, you put up your offer, they put up theirs, and you agree mutually or reject the offer and enter a reason.... MUCH safer!

I agree with you both.If there is some kind of a Broker location for swapping where kids make an agreement and the item can be traded when Both parties have entered their items other wise the item(s) is/ are Returned to the original sender. Then kids won't make false agreements and one party sends and the other party does not send or sends a different item than agreed upon.

Except people can still scam, especially older users scamming newbies out of valuables before the newbies learn what's worth what.

I suppose the trading gizmo could show a 'fair market value' to help in decisions?

Yes Fireflyblue and have some wiggle room for some of us who want something and are willing to trade more some items than "fair market" useful to get items you "need " to decorate or complete a room etc.

orPeople who Want Something NOW rather than wait for it to come around again to the curioshop.

A trading block sounds good enough, however a few bad words from someone because you wouldn't trade with them and there goes your ability to send your kids or friends or whomever gifts whenever you want.

The idea of having a "market place" or some such in webkinz is nice, however like someone else stated it won't stop others from trading outside of that. And if you make it that you can only use kinz post thru such a section, then how am I to surprise my girls with gifts once in a while? Make a trade with them? And then it would end up being a forum as such as this unless both ppl were on at the same time, way too much work for Ganz. They can't keep up with what they are doing now never mind adding more work for them.

oh that ... it is an option for this forum ... it shows what your webkinz ID is, a very nice feature I might add

Show WKW Username – Click on ‘User CP’, ‘Edit Profile’. Under ‘Optional Information’, you can enter your WKW UN and it will show under your forum UN every time you post. Scroll to the bottom and click ‘Save Changes’.

Hope that helps to answer your question
