I would love it too, but think of the mobs of people with red lavas that got them before the wheel that would form around GANZ HQ the next morning because of the trading values. Truly, I follow the trade values only because everyone else does. I think if you like the item, that's what matters, so I'm all for seing a few lavas next time

Imagine this scenario: You're working for months to build up and get something worthy of trading, such as 3 aztec beds since someone says she'll give you her blue lava for three beds. You get the blue lava, then the next month a blue lava is on the superwheel and lots of people are getting them all of a sudden. They start showing up in the cliubhouse and now you can get them of a single aztec bed. How sad are you now?

Yeah, it better never happen, retired should be kept retired!
ITA. I wish, wish, WISH, I owned a couple of retirees (wacky jeans and plumpy's glasses immediately come to mind ) but it wouldn't be fair to members who were lucky enough to get in on the ground floor.

Precisely, it's like being on the ground floor with an IPO. Granted I've never been on the ground floor of anything yet but I do know that in order for anything to have value, there must be a small supply and a high demand. It's basic Economics 101.
