I have two ideas that use 'see' through items to make them effective. One can rely on the idea of this thread from WI but doesn't have to, I just thought it would make a nice tie in. The first idea is glass fish bowls with vibrant exotic fish in them. But the fish-bowls are like storage units in that you can change out the fish that you have in your fish bowl instead of having of the same one! The fishing game could have a few special fish you could catch that could be put in the fish bowl or the fish could be gotten from a Webkinz 'pet store'. The fish would be animated in the bowl to add interest. Maybe a game could be made from it... you move your fish(mouse) to catch fish food falling into the bowl! It would be a game similar Candy Bash 2 Viva Poncho except the fish would be 'squirting' water instead of a bean and the food would be fish treats instead of candies.
The second idea I posted in another thread but I thought I would include it here since it also uses clear glass to make it effective. It is a domed clear glass cake platter to display a made recipe or a special food so everyone that visited your room could see it! It could be put on, perhaps, a countertop, table or even on a pedestal! I like the fridges but I would love to be able to set some of the pretty recipe-foods out so they could be actually seen in my kitchen!
If there was a webkinz pet store for our pets there would be a lot of animals and not just the fish in my idea! Each pet could maybe be a minigame when you clicked on it. The pets wouldn't walk around your house but they would be animated. The animations and games would be specific for each pet: Like a cat with a swishing tail while it is curled up (the game could be like Pinky's Big Adventure except the cat is eating cat treats instead of candy and avoiding dogs instead of bees). A dog could wags its tail and pant with its tongue out (the dog game could be like Bullseye Batter except you would be hitting a dog bone at a dog target.) A hamster could run in a wheel (the minigame for the hamster would be just like the Webkinz Academy running game except a bit harder!), A parrot/canary could flap its wings in its cage (the bird game would be like Bananza Tropical Troubles in the Arcade except for a bird.) A snake could be curled up and raise its head and blink every once in awhile (the game would be like Picnic except with a snake eating bugs.)
I referenced similar games since it is always easier to make a new game if it is based on an older established one.
Does anyone else have any other pet ideas and pet games? I would love to hear them! Include drawn or computer generated pictures if you want!
I actually sent a message to Ganz a couple months ago about having pets for your Webkinz like a fishbowl with a fish or a little gerbil in a cage or something. I like the addition of a game to go with the pet!
Well first of all I love your ideas. I like the cake platter even more then i did the Fish game. And I noticed you asked about other Webkinz ideas. Well i have a few. What if they made a popcorn maker. I have noticed a lot of houses with Theatres in them. And another one i had was what if they made cups and plates you could set out on tables. That way they could go in dining rooms or peoples resturaunts.
I love the food display idea! Some of the recipez are so cute. It would be great to be able to see them in our houses. The idea of a special plate is an interesting one. I wonder what it would take for the programmers to get that to function.
