Default Moving doors, moving or resizing rooms

Months ago there was a post that listed Ganz's answers to some of the most common questions about WW.

One of those questions had to do with the ability to move doors and resize or move rooms. The Ganz rep said that those options were in the making and I think he said they would be available soon.

Has anyone heard any update on those options? I would love to resize and move some of the rooms that they automatically (and inconveniently) place when a new pet is adopted or that I just want to move without losing the wallpaper and floors. I like to have a pattern to my map. It's easier to keep track of which rooms belong to which pet and have them connected (e.g. dining room next to kitchen, museum next to theater).

And, removing doors (after all, when you fly from room to room using the map, you don't really need the doors), would make it easier to decorate rooms without having to put large items in a corner. I can't tell you how many times I've added a room and then found out the door between the rooms has a bed in front of it.

Has anyone heard anything new?

Thanks,

PegC

i haven't heard anything sorry, but it would be so nice especially if you started a rare theme in a medium room and can't fit all the pieces (whihc is a bad idea)
and yes ability to move doors would be good, move them into corners and cover with columns if need be.
lets hope it can be done soon.

This issue just came up today when my best friend bought the new Aztec wallpaper. She put it in one of her large rooms, but realized afterwards that since it's not a corner room, the doors are ruining the pattern of the wallpaper. It would be nice if we could not only move or remove doors, but also had door options like we do for windows. The white doors do not fit well with certain themes.

I too, would like to be able to resize and rearrange my rooms. I currently only have 6 webbies on my account and therefore am still receiving midsize rooms. Everytime I see a room I adore, it is a large room. I would really like to be able to resize the rooms or have the option of choosing a large room when I adopt a new webbie. My younger son bought 3 small rooms one day - I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them!

I think it would be nice to be able to put a door template over the door to make it fit themes more, like a stone door for the aztec theme, or a portcullis for the medievil!

Tip: It appears as though you can cover up a door with a fridge or other large item (I thought you weren't able to place objects in the doorway, but you can). Then it doesn't show...you just can't use the door. That's not really a problem since you can just use the map to go through the door to the next room.

Too bad there aren't enough items that are tall enough to cover the door. The beds just show a door behind the bed......bad look!!

Great idea of allowing us to choose doors that match the room theme. Hope Ganz catches that idea and runs with it.

One of my friends can move doors in her house. It is also the account that she has that can go in KinzChat Plus in the clubhouse. I don't know though
