Default A Martin Luther King Day in WW

Yesterday I came up with an idea that we'd celebrate Martin Luther King day in WW. In the W-Tales there would be a story about Martin Luther Kinz, a biography on Martin Luther King basically, but Kinz instead for Webkinz. Then, we could get a gift box with a wish token (of course), a Nobel "Kinz" Prize, and a little virtual, "I Have a Dream" speech. I'd think this would be so cute and a great way to celebrate a very important civil rights leader.

Yes, but Canadians, Australians, and the other people who play Webkinz don't celebrate MLK day.

I was thinking just for American Accounts. But to be fair, everybody else will get a gift box too with a gift token, etc.

Not to argue at all, just saying that WW would have to post a news story because some other little kids with other nationalities may not know who MLK is. And I'm sure they wouldn't want to mention race...
But I DO like the idea, though! I just think it wouldn't work.

it is a nice idea, it is jus kind of unfair for others, and they should not mention race. Since this site is supposed to be for littler kids, i think a good few 5 or 6 year olds do not know who is MLK. Kids from other places would not know either. But this is a great idea, just worried about how it will work out. Elephant stole the words out of me. (: Anyway, i really like this idea, it just maybe will not work, not to be mean or argue.

Yes, that would be a problem. This was just an idea, no reality....

I don't actually think that is a problem (and I am Canadian living in France)! Martin Luther King (and his speech) have become iconic! He is an example for all of humanity and children from all nationalities would benefit from a little knowledge about who he was

I think they could at least have a whole day of activities, since some users get out of school, and a special at the eStore.
