I understand that in this day and age almost everything is digital or virtual, but that doesn't mean that our Webkinz have to be. Can't one thing just stay real and tangible? You can't fall asleep holding a Mystical Mouse or squeeze a Floppy Eared Bunny. These online pets are cute and probably a lot cheaper to make, but I wish that there were more plush Webkinz coming out then eStore pets. Some people don't have eStore accounts and some people prefer the stuffed animals because they serve a purpose other than the code.
I also wish that Ganz would make more real animals into Webkinz and less of the fake or patterned ones. Don't get me wrong, I love the Peace Puppy and Emperor Dragon, but I really love seeing animals come to life on the computer that aren't imaginary.
I wish that there were more contest with pets as prizes.
I agree completely! Yes the estore is a wonderful thing. But, plushies should stay main event in Webkinz, not virtual pixels. The Estore is great for those who live in rural places and can't get Webkinz easily, or for quick and easy adoptions. But, the plushies are great! I completely agree about the real pets also. Some of these new ones just make me... wonder. Razzle Dazzle Dog? What is this?

Well, I have to say that there diffidentally ARE more plush then virtual, Your making it sound like all their adding are online only pets. Though I also don't like the idea of online only pets, some people, sadly, don't care about the plush and it would be better for them to get estore webkinz to keep their account running. If you ask me, they make plenty of plushie webkinz. More then they make of estore Webkinz. I am fine with the releases of webkinz these days. Estore or not, at least their still MAKING webkinz.
I do agree with your more real webkinz thing though. At first the made up webkinz were fun, but now they are making quite a bit of them. There are so many real animals still to make. I think they should make the same amount of real animals and imaginary ones each month, and then 1 or 2 estore pets in the month.
I'm actually kind of a fan of these made up webbies.
I know I can go get a real plush animal whereever, but I can't walk into a plush store and ask them if they have a 'Razzle Dazzle Dog' or a 'Brilliant Bandit'
Plus the imaginary pets appeal to younger kids. Sparkles and fun colours- didn't you love those things too when you were little?
Me too Amy, Me too. Sparkles, Fun Colors, and Lots of Cuteness is someone everyone has to adore except for those who haven't had some sun on them for a while.
Agreed that some eStore pets would've made some really cute plushes, but I think Ganz does a pretty good darn job maintaining a good balance of Virtual Pets and Plush Pets.
I agree, I think they should come out with the plushies to the virtual pets. I personally don't have an estore account because to be honest, I don't think its worth the money. And just think on how cute the plushies of the virtual pets would be. I think if Ganz made them real people would buy them because they're uncommon and they could probably be an eye catcher, bringing in more profit to them.
