WW needs a trading center.
Trading has become a big part of webkinz, and has spawned many attempts at increasing safety (largely by reputation - i.e., negative consequences only). While this offers definite advantages over blind trust, any given trade is still subject to an unavoidable element of risk.
Instead, WW should host a trade centrally. Both parties agree on the trade, and go to the Webkinz trader (Arte would be the perfect guy) to create the swap. One person creates the deal (the list of items being traded) as part of the 'agreement'. The created deal appears in both accounts as a pending trade with so-and-so. If the other agrees, each side submits their item(s). Here's the cool part: The WW trader only releases the items when BOTH SIDES of the trade have been filled according to the pre-arranged agreement.
If one side doesn't honor the deal, the other's items are returned. At any time until both sides have submitted their items, either party could cancel. There is no risk, because the middle-man holds the items. You can't be scammed, ever because you can see what the other side is offering and only lose 'ownership' when the trade is complete both ways (although you could still be out-traded if you don't understand the relative value of the objects).
This could easily be integrated into the Kinzpost system, just like sending a gift, except that it goes both ways, and only is delivered when both sides agree to, then fulfilll their promised offers.
