Default Ganz needs tighter security on accounts!

As a recent victim of an account hacking, I believe Ganz should change the way you are able to change your password. Instead of just needing a pet's secret code, they should ask for your b-day, or name, or ask a question only the true account holder will know the answer to. That would eliminate so much hacking!!! They have made it too easy for people to get into another's account. For people who have spent TONS of money, and have a LOT to lose, it would be a lot safer to tighten security.

I have already emailed and called Ganz about this idea. (Of course I've heard nothing back.) I wonder if anyone in Ganz ever reads these "Ideas for Ganz" threads?

That is a very good idea Mouse! My account actually got hacked this morning and wouldn't allow me to get in. So only the true holder of the account could change passwords instead of the hackers. Very Nice idea.

That is a good idea! I didn't realize they could do that with just a pet number. Fortunately I've never been hacked and I'm sorry to hear you have!
