Thats kinda of the point.. While people would be upset that it wouldn't have the same psi it wouldn't be fair to the people that have spent 100's of dollars on the first ones. And by changing them slightly it would raise what they would make as well because even the people that bought the first ones might want the psis from the new ones. I think thats the only way they could keep the people that spend 1000's of dollars a year on webkinz playing if they desided to have them in the e-store at some point.

And again they wouldn't be to far off of the first ones just a little bit different.

Playing devil's advocate here, but I don't think it's fair that people can charge hundreds of dollars for a pet that was purchased at regular price. There is only a market for them to be sold at this price because people who really want them are willing to pay that much for them. However, if they are released in the estore, then the demand wouldn't be so high so the people who deperately want the plushies could theoretically purchase them for a reduced price as the market for the sellers would dry up. the prices would probably still be inflated significantly reduced.

The plushies themselves would still be collectible, but those interested in the virtual pet and PSIs could get one as well...seems like a win-win situation to me

I think pets , yes. Items, no. That would make the value of the items go down in trading value.

The original value wasn't $100 or $200 for most of the retired pets. So I don't belive that selling at the Estore withthe original PSI should be an issue. And as someone has stated above WI has made these items value higher not Webkinzworld.

On the flip side certain pets... for example the Love Puppy.. that had an off the charts high price to begin with should not be sold at the estore. I don't feel this would be remotely fair. Not when people either really saved or were forunate enough to purchase these kinds of pets. (And as far a market value...the prices would remain high because of the actual plushy, many that pay that much aren't simply desiring the item, they want the all of it)

Buying a virtual pet is so different and wouldn't decrease the short or long term value of the real life plushie. I still see Love Puppies on Ebay going for over $100.00 and they have no tag.

But as for the rest I don't see why they shouldn't.

I payed for 24 real life charms, cost was just shy of $300.00, and the value of my charms has not and will not go down because the Estore sells them. And I still read about people wanting real life charms even though they have purchased the virtual ones.

So I am all for the estore selling retired pets with the original PSI as long as thier original price was the same as if you were to walk into a store today and buy a Webkinz. This is the only way I can see it as fair.

That would be alright.. but I don't think you should get the official PSI with the pet. Maybe a different PSI? Because the PSI for the pet would drop tremendously
