So I was thinking and I came up with a great new idea for the estore monthly pets!! Ganz could create different cartoon characters each month that are seen on TV!! Some examples would be Clifford, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and more!!! That would be so cool!! What do you think? Any more ideas for the line?
Thanks for sharing your great idea with us!
I do this this is a good idea, but it would be a lot of work (and cost a lot of money) for ganz to get the permission needed to make pets modeled after cartoon characters.
Its a great idea though!
That would definitely be cool. I used to LOVE watching the Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, Tom & Jerry, all those retro cartoons and I still love them. I don't use the eStore, but I would use it if there was such thing as Tweety webkinz.
The only problem is that Ganz would need approval from the various companies that own the characters or get a contract of some sort. And if they did, it would cost a lot of money and therefore the Webbies would cost a lot of money.
Monthly seasonal pets would be cool, like the New Years pet that extravaGANZa mentioned.
That's a good idea! Like other have said, there are copyrights, but the companies could sponsor Webkinz. For instance, if they made a pet of Tom from Tom and Jerry, that's good publicity for Cartoon Network, and they might sponsor it.
