I am new to this site and saw here that some people wanted more information about Hungry Hog 2-Pinky's Big Adventure. Well, this is one of my best games (currently have the high score for this site), and thought you may enjoy seeing what each level looks like, and reading a few tips from someone who plays this game a lot.
There are 25 levels in Hungry Hog 2. Unfortunately, there is no way to earn an extra turn (unlike the first Hungry Hog), so you really have to be careful if you want to make it far in this game. Also, in the first HH, you lost points for eating vegetables--in this game the vegetables are worth twice as much as the junk food, but it still does put more junk food out there when you eat a vegetable (this can be a good thing or bad thing--good in that you can score more points--bad in that it takes more munching to clear a level, and makes the chances of getting hit by a bee higher.
Anyway, a few more tips later, but here are the game screens: (Note: all of these were taken at the beginning of each level--so even though in each game the food is randomly placed, this gives you a good idea of how many pieces of food there are, how many helmets, bees, etc.) **Also note--all of these pictures were not taken from the same game--this explains how I can go from 0 turns left to 2, back to 0, etc.** And my score in this example is lower than it normally would bem because I skipped most of the vegetables and only used helmets when absolutely necessary--to try to finish the levels as quickly as I could and not focus on scoring.
**I was limited to 20 images for this post--I will post the rest in another message.**
Some people advise to eat the vegetables first, but I don't think that is the best idea most of the time. When you have eaten a few junk foods in a row, you slow down...and if you have a bee chasing you, it is bad news unless you can eat a vegetable which will return you to full speed and able to outmanuever the bee. You do not have to eat the vegetables or use all of the helmets. If all the junk food is gone, the level is over.
I like to eat all of the junk food around a square of game space (such as the top middle part of level 7 above). If a bee is chasing you, it is easy to lose him in this area.
One other thing--you really need to be careful when you hit a bee with your helmet--he comes back on the screen in the same place he started the level...and sometimes that spot is exactly where you happen to be at that time--bad luck for you when that happens. I try to get close to the next helmet and wait to make sure it is clear and either use the helmet if necessary, or just continue eating junk food if the coast is clear.
Sorry for such a long post--hope some of it was useful for you!!!
If you have any questions about this game, let me know.
