Dumbledore asks Severus Snape, "After all this time?" and Severus says, "Always."
His patronus was a doe, the same patronus as Lily Evans. And.. I think that also means he was in love with her, because in the beginning of the sixth Harry Potter book, Tonks patronus turns into a fuzzy creature that, I think, is supposed to be Lupin when he's a wolf... So...
I'm rambling.
But, yeah.. so
