hmm if i had to pick which one is better,
i'd say wealth totally!
if you are just famous,
you could crash and burn and oh look,
you're bankrupt or poor xDD
I know I don't want fame because I'm super shy in person and like being anonymous in public! So if I had to pick, I'd say wealth.
We've been in situations where we had no money (when we were grad students) and where we had a lot and actually having a lot is hard. We're Christians, so everything we do has to be brought under the microscope of "What brings glory to God?" If my Lord is glorified by me being poor and unimportant, then that's what I want. If He is glorified by our abundance, then that's what I want. When we've had a lot, there has been a lot of decision making and trying to decide how to be good stewards of those resources. The responsibility is a big one and I wouldn't take that on again lightly.
So I said wealth because you can always give it away, but really, I'm content with whatever God gives me.
Well if you're wealthy, then you're gonna become famous anyways. xD So I'd choose wealth over fame, cuz fame isn't always a bad thing ... but honestly, there are more important things than these two. =]
I always dream about running away to New york City, Los Angeles , Atlanta, or somewhere fancy to get rid of my troubles.... I wish it were that easy, I don't have many friends at the school I go to and I love school but it would be a lot easier if I had friends to socialize with. I recently got a new school and I am having trouble fitting in... I always walk in imagining that I was with those girls chit chating in the back of the class instead of sitting in my seat quietly reading!
I am very happy with my life right now. I wouldn't change anything, I don't really want to be known for money. Though it would be nice to have some money to donate to charities and people all over the world.
