i'm perfectly fine around them. i have a rottweiler.. & she's pretty big, so i'm used to them. & both of my best friends have a great dane, so i'm completely comfortable around big dogs.
I'm pretty good around them. Sometimes, at first, it's kinda like 'woah, big dog...', but then I'm over it. Just a little taken back at first.
Every big dog ive ever been around (well, except one or two) are usually just big Teddy bears and just like to be petted and sit with you.
It doesn't really make me nervous; when I was younger, I always wanted a rottweiler. ^^ But at the same time, I'm more of a cat person, so I feel more comfortable around cats than dogs in general. Like, I would be more inclined to pick up a friend's cat rather than a dog.
see, my sister has this........ HORSE dog thing named porkchop and he is just this giant slobbery chocolate lab. he is precious. anyways, im used to being around small dogs, and oncehe jumped on me and i fell down so i was scared of him. im fine around him now, if he runs really fast at me i stay wherei am now because i know he will stop.
