It is the first book. And the title is Philosopher's Stone. Why they changed it for the Americans, I will never know.

I know it as The Philosopher's Stone. Although it's called The Sorcerer's Stone where I live.

I know it by both names, but I say Sorcerer's Stone because most people in the U.S. call it that even though Philosopher's Stone is the original and more correct.

Also, they basically "dumbed it down" for Americans because the publishers thought American kids wouldn't know what a philosopher is. A lot of other words were changed in the book too that was English slang.
