I practically live in the woods, so I've seen a lot of bears.
One got into our garbage 2 nights ago, and it got our bird-feeders.
And I walked past my neighbor's house one time and there was one going up through their yard.
And one time I was on a walk and my dogs treed a bear cub, so I ran for my life in case mama bear was around lol.
I haven't seen a wild one or anything, but our neighbors across the street had one in their backyard, I wish I'd been there. :3 I'd rather a bear than a moose.
I was in Wisconsin at my grandmas cabin, driving down a long road surrounded by forest at 12 am.. We were at a party.. On my 4wheeler.. I was driving pretty fast and I was all alone, it's about a 10 minute ride back to our cabin.. My headlights went out and I was stuck in the dark with only the moon shining on the ground.. I couldn't see chizz.. Out of nowhere I heard something come out of the forest, I thought it was a squirrel or something. Turns out it was a bear. I stopped my 4wheeler to see what it was, turned my phone on for light and saw it. It was huge! After that I'm pretty sure I needed a change of pants.. I just sat there and I swear my heart stopped.. I new one way or another I was probably gonna die and become bear food so I floored it straight at the bear. It ran and I made it safely back..
Yes, I did. My family took a vacation to Colorado, and we were lucky enough to see a Grizzly Bear (I think it was a Grizzly. . . this happened awhile ago xD) in it's natural habitat. . . it was awesome c:
