Nope. I have no reason to text.
If I want to speak with someone, I call them or talk to them in person.
I also completely hate when someone is talking to me and starts texting (talking to someone else mid-sentence). That is completely rude! The same with taking a call while we are talking. It's one thing to look who is calling and call back later...
I like people too much to waste time or treat them that way.
(Can you tell this issue bugs me? )

I text pretty much in every class. Mostly just in third hour, lunch, and sixth hour, though. Our teachers aren't as strict as some other people's teachers are in this thread, but some of them will take them away, but we can get them back at the end of the day. I've never gotten caught, though. I do it mostly in sixth hour because she doesn't care about anything we do at all. At lunch and hall passing I do as well.

They didn't have texting back when I was in school. We used to use sign language to communicate across the room to each other, back in 'ancient times', LOL.

I'm not allowed to talk during classes...
We can talk and make calls and stuff on breaks between classes though.
