Well, I did a little reading about screamo, but the articles I looked at had so many artists listed for first wave and second wave screamo that I'm not sure what to start with. I suspect that the powerviolence stuff will not be my scene, but I have been around long enough to be exposed to all kinds of music, and I am interested in broadening my horizons -- if nothing else, so I can relate to what my students are listening to when I become a middle school teacher.
Care to help an old lady out with a couple of recommendations I can find online?
Oh thanks for letting me know , I have never heard of that before LOL !!
Would that be on like a heavy metal radio station ?? Or in a record store there would be a category called screamo ?? Next time I am gonna check it out & around my house you can sample music in the record stores so I will listen to it ( if I can find it ) !! Thanks !!
A couple bands that you could look for are Brokencyde, Dance Gavin Dance, and Suicide Silence.
THAT IS A 100%NO! I do not like screamo at all! I personally don't even see how it is music when people are just screaming... it sounds like my mom and I in the morning
